When did Princess stop allowing

That sounds like a winner already, Les!

 

What did you have? Do you order off of a menu?

If my taste buds remember correctly, a small bottle of Moet champagne, smoked salmon, fruit, crab quiche, and baked goodies--PLENTY of food. It was a fixed menu, but you probably could have added other things off of the regular room service menu.

I think it must differ from ship to ship. My girlfriend who sailed on the Caribbean Princess in August tried more than once to order a full breakfast into her stateroom and was told no on every ocassion. When we sailed on The Golden Princess in October we ordered a full breakfast almost every morning and never had a problem. We weren't not in a full suite, only a mini suite so it can't be the suite thing, maybe it's just being done on different ships at this point in time.
