In-cabin safes - Freedom

Recommended Posts

The safe opening is about 12 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 9 inches tall. My large digital camera fit in there with all of our passports, wallets, etc. with no trouble at all. One caution... the front edge has a lip on it. If you put jewlery in there it can get pushed under the lip and you cannot see it (but you can feel under there for it). DW almost lost some jewlery until I did a last call check just before we walked out.

How does it lock, is it a number lock or one you use a credit card for to lock. I have seen both in some places and have brought my Jewel grocery card to lock them instead of a credit card.

Thanks

Here's a tip for locking up larger valuables, we always take along a luggage lock, even though we don't use it on our luggage as we travel through the airports we have it so that later in the hotels or in this case the ship, we can lock up personal larger items, laptops, camera's, etc you get the idea.
