shore excursions-where to meet group?

Hi fellow cruisers

 

We booked our shore excursions through the cruise line (this is our 1st cruise and I'm not experienced enough yet to try the independent route). I'm assuming that there will be alot of people getting off the ship as well on port days, where do we meet our group? On the ship? On the dock? Will the information be provided to us beforehand?

The information will be provided beforehand. Could be on the ship or on the dock. Read your tickets. They should be delivered to your cabin.

They will tell you when and where to meet...after that, all you have to do is have fun. They will handle every other aspect for you. Generally, if you have a very early excursion, you will meet on the ship somewhere, and disembark as a group.

Your shore excursion tickets (which you'll receive onboard the ship) will tell you to meet. Some will meet on the pier, some will meet in various places onboard the ship. It depends on the port, the excursion, and the departure time.

Not to worry. You will get info on when and where to meet. Generally in one of the public rooms.

we have had excursion groups meet all over...the last few have been somewhere on the ship at a certain time...but other have been a meet on the pier thing. They will let you know in advance where and when you will need to be

Your shore excursion tickets and the on board newsletter will tell you where to meet. Usually,there are many tours going off in the morning. These usually meet in a public room and are escorted off.
