Midnight Writer Posted May 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2009 there are two adults and 1 teen age 17 on the carnival legend in july we got a balcony, now the kid wants the bed I can not sleep on the open bed its too soft... is there a way to make one of the beds harder? if we are all getting twin beds... and do you think that it will be a problem witn suitcases and stuff? I have a small suitcase but you know teenagers they got to bring the kitchen sink. how can we do it? Is it alright to sleep on the deck instead of the rooms? Red?
cb at sea Posted May 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2009 If I were you, I'd tell the child, "Sorry--adults get the bed. You're lucky to be on this trip at all!" 17 Year olds can sleep anywhere..and he/she will. I would NEVER give up a bed to a kid. You can have the beds arranged into 2 twins or 1 big bed...and there should be either a pullman or sofa bed (some ships have "bunk" arrangements".... At any rate, and whatever configuration you get, the adults should get 1st choice. Who's paying for this cruise? I bet it's not the 17 yo!!!! The suitcases should fit fine under the beds.
