Let me see what I can find out for you. A few of our advertisers have run contests, so I don't know which one specifically you are referring to. Do you know?

I think it was CruCon that had the "Win a Eurodam balcony cruise".

I wondered who won it too.

Win a Eurodam balcony cruise That is the cruise contest .. I guess Im not the winner either:( I entered that every day I really wanted to win that cruise:mad:(hehe) .. I guess it wasnt meant to be.. Were going in January anyways . :Dwith all my family 19 people to be exact.. but hopefully the person who won has a good time.. ;)

Add another to the list of 'almost won'. :D

 

But, we are returning to Eurodam in January. She's a wonderful ship and we totally enjoyed our cruises on her in March.

I assume that I won it and simply have not been notified yet.

 

I KNOW that I have won a multi-million pound U.K. lottery. I have an email from Nigeria telling me so.

That would be me! Yooo Hooooo!!! I was notified via e mail on 5/5/09 from Jessica at Cruise Critic that I had won. Didn't find out till I got home from a 36 hour shift at the Fire Dept. When I called my wife at her work to let her know, she thought I was joking because I never win anything. We can't wait to go. We usually sail Celebrity or RCCL. Have been on NCL and Princess but never HAL. Really looking forward to it. We've been talking about trying HAL and this is our chance.

Cats are NOT people. As I am sure you know:

Dogs have owners

Cats have staff

 

The cats in this house would be seriously upset to be demoted to people.

 

BTW: We are active in feline (and occasional canine) rescue. There are 6 cats to which we belong (all rescues with serious on-going medical issues except for one health one) and currently 10 temporary residents (plus the rescued Poodle). So I KNOW the difference between people (clean liter boxes, feed cats, pet cats, inject and pill cats) and cats (nap in sun).

CONGRATULATIONS! I haven't sailed on Eurodam, but if she is anywhere near as nice as Zuiderdam and the old "Noordam", you are in for a wonderful trip. While I haven't cruised a huge number of times, of the 6 cruiselines I have been on, HAL is the only line I have repeated. I love the size of the their ships, the friendliness of their crew, their beds and toiletries are to die for, and the teak wood promenade deck that encircles the ship makes them so easy to navigate and find your way around. And don't forget to check out the Yum Yum man at the dining room door (he will have on a red and gold uniform that reminds me of the Phillip Morris man of years ago). HAVE A WONDERFUL CRUISE!

I agree- ..read somewhere if you want the best seat in the house ask the(cat/dog) to move!

Oh no! Dogs are fair game, but you can't move a sleeping cat!
