Coffee mugs

This is a really silly question no doubt but I've heard a lot of people talking about taking their coffee here and there about the ship. Does this mean you go to the dining room, get a cup of coffee and then take it away with you? In this case, is it a good idea to bring your own mugs (e.g. insulated ones) and then can you just get filled up whenever you like?! Also, can you get other drinks in this way like water etc? Or is it best to bring some bottled water with you?

Thanks very much, am pretty much clueless!

Jenny :)

Of course you can! You can take from the buffet or dining room whatever you'd like. No need to bring water--the ship's water is fine. If you like to carry water with you, do bring a bottle that you can fill. (You'll have to use a cup to fill your bottle--they don't want you to fill directly from the dispenser)

Many folks will go and get their lunch and then carry it to the pool, or elsewhere to eat. You can take food back to your room, if you like.

Typically it would be the Lido you would go to to get a coffee and take it away. No need to bring a mug unless you really want to. Sometimes there are mugs for sail in the ship gift shop.

As mentioned you would get a cup of coffee from the buffet area, you would not take a cup of coffee with you from the dining room however, also specialty coffees are not free other than in the dining room with a meal.
