Storing Luggage in Room?

I'll be sailing in June on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. I'm wondering how we're going to store our suitcases - is there room under the beds? Or closet space?

Not much room in the closet...we usually put ours under the bed.

Ours always fit under the bed. You may need to put small ones into bigger ones.

If you're in a JS, the closet is huge---plenty of space. Regular cabins, put it under the bed. If it won't slide under, lift the bedframe...it will fit!

Thank you all! You've relieved my mind. I've just always heard that the rooms on a ship were small and was worried about tripping over luggage. It should all go under the bed. Whew!

Yes, I've always put the luggage under the bed.

 

Another trick...

 

About halfway through the cruise (or after you've done a lot of shopping) put your dirty clothes and souvenirs in the suitcase under the bed. That way you don't have to trip over them the rest of the week. :)

If you have large suitcases, lift up the beds a little bit and they will still fit under there.

We usually stand one suitcase up on end in the closet. Into this we drop our folded dirty laundry. Saves a LOT of packing time on the last day. (The saddest day of all.)
