Legend Forward Balcony

Recommended Posts

My DH and I have been assigned stateroom 7117 on the Carnival Legend. This is a forward balcony cabin on the Verandah deck. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of such a cabin? What kind of privacy do you have? Also, does anyone have any pics of the views from a similar cabin?

It will be our first balcony, so I'm excited, no matter what!

We were just on Victory, in Balcony cabin 6207 which was right up forward

-further forward than where you are in 7117 on Legend

You should be seeing lots this kinda stuff...

since you'll be right over, or almost-right-over the bow! :)

You may get some decent Whumps or even Bangs at night when she's heading into the weather(into the swells)

but it's nothing to alarm...quite routine. ;)

Walk forward some more to the very forward end of the corridor

and you might find 'secret' (little known) doors

leading out to small forward-facing bow decks used by the crew for a quick smoke

or just to get some fresh air.

Perfectly legit for you the passenger to use as well, just little-known!

It's windy out there!! but a great place for taking pics...

This is Carnival Victory, of course...but your situation shouldn't be significantly different
