Infi Posted June 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2009 My daughter loves scones and pastries and would like to sample some local fare while we're in Victoria. Can anyone recommend a good bakery/pastry shop in the downtown area? We probably won't be able to do tea, but would like to try some teatime snacks. Perhaps a local place, and not too pricey - those are usually the best ones, after all. :) We'll be taking the Victoria clipper in for the day, and would like something close to where the ship comes in. Thanks so much!

Luckysll Posted June 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2009 James Bay Tea Room is also excellent for scones. I used to go there for coffee break every day when I worked in the area. The Tea Room is about a block behind the Parliament Buildings on the corner of Superior and Menzies, which is not far from where the Clipper docks.
