BTB cruise - breakfast/lunch during transition

We are going on the 28 day Emerald Princess cruise on Sept 13 (Copenhagen to Ft Lauderdale), which is also available as an 10 day Baltic cruise and 18 day Transatlantic. On the transition day in Copenhagen (Sept 23) is the dining room still open for breakfast and lunch or is everything closed except for Horizon court? Thanks......

The dining room will be open for breakfast, but the hours will be a bit earlier than usual. There will also be a dining room open for lunch, especially for the b2b (in transit) cruisers. Afternoon tea will not be served, but by noon the pizza parlor, hamburger grill, and like will be available.

We like to enjoy the quiet of the ship for those few hours in the morning before we must disembark (as a group) and clear immigration, etc. Have a fantastic cruise.:)

Breakfast will be in both the Dining Room and the Buffet. It will end earlier than normal.

Lunch will also be in both places. You may have to keep asking to find the Dining Room for lunch. For some reason, the seem to really discourage it on turnaround day.

In my experience you'll receive an instruction letter that among other things will tell you which dining room is open for lunch for "In Transit" passengers (and in theory for boarding passengers too...)

Unlike disembarking passengers, you may recieve the option of ordering room service in the morning from the continental breakfast selections, unless you are in a suite where you can order a full breakfast.

The transition letter includes info on lunch -- which room and timings. Transit pax have no problem having lunch in dining room.
