HI!! Leaving Saturday on the Explorer. Was wondering if DH would be able to carry on his swiss army knife with him. It's the kind with all the gadgets, about 4" long. Thanks:)

I don't think he will get through security with it. My BIL always carries one also, and they packed his. It got through on his checked luggage.

I take mine along for every cruise. Shouldn't be a problem, but I would have it in your luggage and not inside a carry-on bag.

 

Obviously if you were flying, it would need to be in your checked luggage.

Their policy is to confiscate that at check-in and return it when you disembark.

 

They don't catch everything, however.

If it's in his LOCKED, CHECKED suitcase, it'll be fine.

He can't leave home without.

Can't blame him we have used many times on vacation.:)
