Carnival "Adult" Scavenger Hunt?

Recommended Posts

Last year we were on a Royal Carribean Cruise and my daughter and I went to a late night, adult "scavenger hunt" type of show. I can't remember exactly what it was called, but the room was divided into different teams and each team had to try to come up with certain items, and do different "things" with said items. It has been a couple of years since we went on a Carnival Cruise...do they have anything like that? It was alot of fun, and if Carnival has one we would like to go again. However, this time we will try to be prepared and take a bag of items with us! :)

The RC show/team event is called Quest. To my knowledge, Carnival hasn't adopted the concept. I think they should - it is funny!

Yes its called Quest and its a blast! I was actually a member of a great team and we came in second place (we won a hat )

There were 13 teams of 4. We had to get things like a womans bra ect..from the audience. I would love to see Carnival do this :)

On our last Carnival cruise they had an adult scavenger hunt. They gave you a list of items to find on the ship and you had to take a picture of each of them. You had 30 minutes.

My family won (!) and received a beautiful, solid gold plastic ship on a stick!

I have only been on Carnival once and they had a scavenger hunt, but it was just a regular scavenger hunt, definitely not adult.

I have been on RCCL 3x and finally went to Quest on the last cruise (Explorer of the Seas) and I will never miss it again. We were divided into 10 teams of about 30-40 people each. I have never laughed so hard or had as much fun.

When we were on the Pride in March they also had the "Quest" game. It was definatley adults only as well. It was held in the Butterflies lounge on the 2nd deck @ 11pm. It was absolutley fantastic, we had 6 or 7 groups of 4. There was no spectating allowed. If you were there you had to play. We could only find the items asked for within the lounge itself. I won't tell you what kind of things they ask for, it will spoil it for anyone who has never done it. I must brag and say we won!!!!!!!!!!! Gold ship on a stick for our team and a bottle of champagne. If whatever ship you are sailing on plays "Quest", make sure to go and participate, it was the highlight of our cruise.

Yes, we anticipated that one. The other woman ( we were in teams of 2 guys and 2 girls) that my DH and I were partnered with discretly removed them after the second or third item was asked for so we already had them to go. The host almost fell over laughing. He had barely said the word "bra" when we rushed to the front of the lounge with or bras in hand.

As mentioned it is called Quest and I think they had it on Glory. My question to you is why would you want to cheat? That was one thing I really disliked about the Royal Caribbean one is that there were people who had been on other cruises and cheated by bringing things with them. To me it takes away all the fun of the hunt. I guess though, to answer my own question, maybe a ship on a stick is that important huh?
