JS on Splendour

Recommended Posts

Considering booking 3 JS cabins (there are 8 of us in our group) in May 2010, I am concerned that the deck above Pool, etc. will be noisy - we do like to take naps in late afternoon, before dinner. Anyone have experience with the Junior Suites on this ship.

I would be spending about $600 more for the JS, is it worth it over the D1 category, it doesn't get all the SUITE perks that GS and above gets but that would cost me $5000 more for the 8 people.

thanks, Jean

We always book a JS under the pool deck and have never had noise issues in the cabin, except for the sounds that will come from the hallway as doors slam, or folks talk loudly while passing your cabin. That happens on ANY deck.

I love JS's---there's lots of space, and a tub helps the bathroom not to feel so cramped.

I guess it depends who's in the room with you! I would never put more than 2 adults in a cabin, anyway!

JS's don't get any "perks" except priority boarding and 2 C&A credits.
