Car Rental Promo Codes

i will be renting a car from POM and returning to Orlando. Both Dollar and Thrifty are charging $100 drop off charge. Other companies are expensive to begin with. Does anyone have a current promo code that I could try for a rental company that has a shuttle from POM to their facility?

Thanks.

The cheapest that I could find for me (MCO - Port Canaveral) was through Budget. They had no drop off charge.

For me, Budget was the same with or without the promocode.

Ringram, thanks for the tip. Used KISSE and got the same rate as you.

BTW: Do you know what kind of promo rate it is and will they ask when we pick the car up? They didn't when booking.

..and once you have booked keep checking those rates.. We have found that car rental rates in FLL fluctuate considerably based on demand/supply. Even more so if you are renting over a weekend.

Is $25 a good rate? We have paid less only once and most times more.

Somebody tipped me on this Promo code about 4 years ago and I've been using it for both vacation and business rentals ever since. About 15-20 times total. I've never been asked for anything other than drivers license and credit card. I'm booked for Oct 23rd using it again.

The only wierd thing about it this time was a $10 fee for returning it to MIA airport. Then I checked it again 2 weeks ago and there was no fee. So I rebooked it and cancelled by original booking. So $38 total instead of $48 total.

And, no, I've never seen a cheaper rate. I'm in Florida about 4 times a year on business and a couple of times per year on vacation. Now I can't say I've been looking for better promo code though. This one is chaep enough, and it has really goog rates on a weekly rental.

I had read where you warned about the $10 fee but the agent who booked it said if it didn't show in the booking, then there was no $10 (fee). I didn't want a surprise. He said that he saw the $10 fee a while ago but hasn't seen it for the past 2 weeks. I'm guessing that people have complained because Florida is not suppose to have a drop-off fee.

Ringram, one more question for you. Is the shuttle from South River Dr. in Miami to POM complimentary or is there a fee? Thanks for all your help.

I just booked with Dollar and when I pulled the homepage up in the code box was a code CC0357. I have no idea what this code is for but I got a HUGE savings. Reserved a mini van for 49.00 p.day. Super Bowl weekend. Car rental agencies are rediculous for that weekend. I just wish I knew what that code is or why it popped up. Any how hopefully it will save some of you money also!

So glad I browsed this thread! Thanks for the great tip, Rick. I had only found really high rates for my one-day rental. Thanks to you, I'll be paying a much more reasonable $25. YAY!

Does anyone have a promo code for Dollar that works will work in February. KISSE doesn't work that month!

Someone has mentioned OOAG but it's a few dollars more ( about $29 vs $25 ).

You might try KISSE again. The 1st time I tried it, I got a blurb that said there were no cars available at the location for that day etc. I tried it again a few days later and it worked. Since you have lots of time until Feb., keep trying it.

Also, take a look at post #18 on page 1.

Tried the KISSE and CCO357 codes today but neither worked. Priceline had a minivan today for $45 ($65 the other day) so I took that. This is for Jan. 23rd.

used the KISSE code today..worked for an OCT booking, may your date is to far out?
