Is there a store which sells liquor within walking distance.

That depends on what you consider walking distance.

 

We have no problems walking to the liquor store but I would estimate it is about 3 very large blocks. Go West from the Renaissance and when you get to a Texaco station look right and you will see a large liquor store. There is a also a grocery store next door that has liqour as well.

If you mean the hotel on 17th street there is a Total liquor store right down the street. The name has changed, but just ask at the desk & they will direct you...it's not very far. There is also a Walgreens right across the street and a grocery store by the liquor/wine shop. Very convenient.

yes I do mean the 17th st hotel near the cruise port. I saw that there is a Publix nearby, just not sure if it sold hard liquor!

Publix sells wine, and lots of it.

The store you will see is Crown Liqour, and the grocery is Winn-Dixie. If you go left on the same street, Cordova, you will come to Total Wine, and the Publix. Both Total and Crown have free delivery on orders of $200 or more. You can also call or fax in orders that can be picked up at specific times. If you don't want to walk take the Sun Trolley.

Publix/Tptal Wine behind the Embassy suites has a great selection of wine as Pia said.

BTW, we stayed at your hotel last time. It was great. You can walk up to the bridge (about a 3 minute walk) and look at all the ships. There is also a Publix and a Walgreens very closeby.

I stayed there in April, and really liked it. I'm going to try & stay there next May as well.
