Thanks so much! I would use the bogo wine glass one, the internet just to print my boarding passes on the last day, casino credit....not much else in there, huh? lol:D Thanks for the updated info!

Sadly, there is no glass of wine coupon in the gold booklet. I pretty much found it useless. Just off Serenade as well (July 25 - Aug 1) and here is what is inside:

10% off spa or salon service

Buy 1 bingo package, get a free single jackpot card

Buy 1 bottle of wine, receive 10% discount on any second bottle over $50 USD

$5 internet credit

Free spin to win

$5.00 match play casino credit

$75 art auction bidding credit

10% off white lifestyle portrait

25% off any coffee beverage

2 for 1 milkshakes at JR

temporary tattoo gold colour upgrade (seriously?)

Buy 1 wine flight, receive a 10% discount on second one

Diamonds International $75 credit (does RCI own DI?)

Free Wilderness Express souvenir glass

And...A Johnny Rockets coupon if you are on a Voyager or Freedom-Class ship ;)

Not anymore apparently - now just 2 for 1 milkshakes. Quite unfair. My last 4 cruises were on Radiance/Vision class ships. Now that I am booked on Voyager class, no more JR or Ben & Jerry's coupons.

Boooooooo

WOW, They were there in April. Oh well, I guess I'll have to pay that cover this coming April :)

We were with you on Liberty in April and had the same johnny rockets coupons, but the front of the packet actually said Mariner on ours so they must have been using the old ones up. That is a real bummer, free johnny rockets was great! We are booked again in the same room next april so we'll see...

Well, this sounds disappointing. Our last cruise was only our second on RCI, but we were tickled to find nice canvas bags in our cabin, tickets to a wine tasting class (which was a hoot!), an invitation to a special reception with the captain, and a handful of other really nice freebies. None of that now? I've always looked askance at "free gifts" that required you to pay for something else before you could enjoy your gift, and I make very sure that my own business stays far away from this practice. It's just very thinly disguised sales-as-usual -- I think it's so much better to actually give away a little something, because you earn so much more in goodwill and profit down the line than you'd actually make in short-term sales. It's too bad if RCI has become short-sighted in this regard.

I was on the 7/30 Enchantment sailing. The platinum coupon book had the old, free Johnny Rockets coupon -- great, right? WRONG! Enchantment does not have Johnny Rockets!!

Grrrr. . .

Aquahound posted about the coupon book which he got on that cruise. It's the old one. Enchantment may be the last ship in the fleet that is still using/getting rid of the old coupon books.

All others have the new, crappy ones.

Just went on my second Royal Caribbean cruise, and thus my first time getting the Crown and Anchor benefits. The Coupon Book was as described upthread, and was pretty useless-(5% off logowear, discount for second bottle of wine- but the wine had to be more than $50 to begin with, 2 for 2 milkshakes at Johnny Rocket's, etc.), but I was actually impressed by how well we were treated otherwise, considering this was just our second Royal cruise. We got both a baseball cap and a bag, and were also invited to a party for returning cruisers- at which we could have any alcohol we wanted, served by a multitude of attentive waiters, and where there were lots of great hors d'oerves (spelling?) too. I loved the trip and would definitely go on another RCCL cruise, and these little treats were icing on the cake.

We are finally sailing platinum in Dec. Big deal, huh? I will get $150 off my balcony, as my Gold DD gets $125. Not much difference. I seriously have stayed loyal to RCCL to earn my credits. :( But before them I thoroughly enjoyed my Princess and NCL cruises just as much. :) Now there won't be any loyalty unless there is a great price!;) The coupon items don't thrill me. DH doesn't like milkshakes. Neither of us do wine and I hate my photo taken. We rarely gamble, never do the spa and don't buy souveniers. I come prepared with whatever I may need. I did enjoy the canvas bag, baseball cap and the neat little travel clock/money convertor I got as gifts. 2 for 1 drink coupons I did use.:D

I agree with KuffMUp. There is no Gold balcony discount, and your Platinum balcony discount on a 7 night cruise is $100.You'll get $200 if your cruise is 10 nights or longer.

Sorry I took the $150 savings Cert. for balcony instead of the $100 platinum discount. :o I couldn't use both. :( But my DD only got $125 Sav. cert. for her balcony for some reason.
