Barbados Hilton Question

Can anybody tell me what beach this hotel is near? I'm trying to figure out if I have to go to other beaches during my stay or if this hotel beach/location is adequate. I will be working some excursions into the trip. :)

The Hilton is at Needhams Point/Fort Charles, on the southwest tip. It is between Pebbles Beach and Drill Hall Beach. Haven't been there in a long time, before the Hilton was rebuilt, but always enjoyed it. It's not the closest beach to the ship, but not too far away either.

This photo shows Hilton in relationship to where the Port is...

Braemar-460.jpg

- it's the big bldg. out on the point

at the extreme end of Carlisle Bay

(the water/space between the Port and Needham's Point.)

and this shot...

BHilton-43.jpg

was taken near the pool

showing the beach on the other side of Needham's Point..

at the very Western end of the South Coast.

They've got a big pool (not the lil dipper you see here)

-or you can swim in the somewhat-surfy sea on their wide beach

It's nice. Do Hilton.

And this... is a shot of their coconut trees

heading further up the South Coast side of their beach, seen above

All beach activities and amenities at Hilton Barbados

are oriented towards the South Coast side of Needham's Point

...very pleasant!

I think Hilton prefers you to phone ahead first

to see if they can accommodate you, that day.

Their number (on the island) is 426-0200

Aplac;

does the Hilton offer a day pass for use by cruise passengers?

Yes Hilton offers a day pass.

Pretty sure it's $25 without lunch

$35 with lunch.

Not sure of the currency I've just quoted, but think think it's US$?

There a whole thread devoted to this if you use the Search feature.

How do you get to the search feature for the Hilton?
Go back one page ...to the Barbados threads page

and up on the top right you'll see a Search box which will search the Barbados threads only.

Search this Forum -it says..

A lil drop-down menu happens, type in your key-words

click on Go and wait awhile.
