raudacruise Posted August 21, 2009 #51 Share Posted August 21, 2009 People need to read the posts before they ask questions. The same questions are asked over and over when they have already been answered. Not when you get two different answers. One thread said Elite only and this one says Elite and Suites above Sky Suites. So what is the answer? I could call Celebrity and probably get a split 5-5 if I called them 10 times. C 2 C Posted August 21, 2009 #52 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Ahhh...but that would be too logical;):) To bring some sentiment back into this topic... We know that Michael's is a "special" perk for cruising with Celebrity. I want to know which has the most snob appeal, those who can look down upon the masses with the most flair.. Someone who is being rewarded because of loyalty to X, a true elitist? or Someone, perhaps on their first Celebrity voyage, "residing" in a more desirable neighborhood but reluctantly mixing with the "steerage" masses to get the same free drink? Easy answer of course is the elitist suite occupier who invites all of us to sailaway... :D
jackdiamond Posted August 21, 2009 #53 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Since my wife is Elite and I'm just the tag-along (won't be Elite until after my next cruise), while she is napping or in the spa, do you think I could use her seapass and convince them that my real name is Maureen? :) Only if your dress meets the dress code. FYI, yes been in suites (4 times but first two times only counted as 1 each in terms of points because of the old "founder" stuff). Have done sailaways and hosted mid cruise get togethers. I'm not looking for "snob appeal" and have made great friends on the prior four cruises on =X=. Have you?

Rare Texed Posted August 21, 2009 #59 Share Posted August 21, 2009 When this news first came out, it was said it was for Elite and Suite passengers. Is it just strictly for Elite members????? On our cruise it was for Elite and folks in Penthouse, Royal, and Celebrity suites.
