Marriott's BeachPlace Towers

We have reservations for the Marriott's BeachPlace Towers in Ft Lauderdale for June after our Valor cruise. Anyone have opinions on this hotel??? We're paying $125 a night, which I thought was a good price. Any info is appreciated...

Don't know of the property but seems like a great rate. Who did you book with?

I booked on line with Marriott and got the AAA rate. Looks like it's directly accross the street from the beach with a walkway over the street. I figured a Marriott on the beach at $125 was a pretty good deal.

It is a timeshare unit with some regular hotel rooms.. Was renovated IIRC in 07 or 08. It is ALWAYS busy.....and the staff can be somewhat inattentive.....YMMV

 

There is plenty to do right there, or within a few minutes walk.

 

Personally I would prefer the Harbor Beach Marriott or even the courtyard as neither ever seems to be as nuts as the BP Towers is....

I would prefer the Harbor Beach also, but it's $108 more per night and I'd rather not spend the extra money. I'm glad to know there's a lot to do around the Beachplace....Thanks!

I love Beach Place, I've been there but did not have to deal with staff, as it was my friend's room, so I cannot comment about service. The location is terrific and so is your price.
