mringenoldus Posted August 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2009 OK...I'm back again on this RFS dilemna - sorry! My son wrote from Iraq this morning and said that he thinks we should go with the RFS over our GS and E1. I would bet it was the free drinks that won his vote. Apparently, all three RFS cabins are available. I am leaning towards deck 9 since we have family in 1100. I have read that the cabin is somewhat smaller than deck 7 - but is the balcony larger? I know I am obsessing at this point - and probably need some type of cruise addict therapy - but I'm having separation anxiety about leaving GS 1060. I would sure appreciate any good advice on these three choices prior to getting back to my TA!
cb at sea Posted August 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2009 I'm pretty sure all of those RFS's are the same size--it's the balcony that may be a tad different. They are all large balconies, however...a few inches won't make a bit of difference! I'd take deck 9, too...only 2 flights to the pool!
DHADEN Posted August 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2009 If you really look close at the deck plans, it looks like 9656 and 8668 are identical. However 7672 looks like the cabin is larger, but there is no balcony. I would call RCI and clarify before booking. Hope This Helps.
ccletzgo Posted August 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2009 they are diffferant. the salon area in each one is differant in size and shape. The Salon on deck 7 is larger although the second bedroom is smaller.
mringenoldus Posted August 30, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted August 30, 2009 ccletzgo Do you think that 9656 would give me a bigger second bedroom and the larger balcony??
