  1. Thanks, already contacted the concierge desk and they know to remove everything. They also said one 750ml bottle will fit Thanks All!
  2. BINGO! On our last cruise we had been in our cabin for a couple minutes when our butler stopped by to introduce himself. We had some small talk and my wife ask if he was married? any children? Nathanael's face lite right up! He started showing us photos of his wife and 2yo little girl. Probably one of the most pleasant human beings I've ever met.
  3. Knock on wood all of our butlers and room stewards in the Haven and in Suites have been great! Lack of menu variety? Spent 12 days in the Haven on the Getaway. Breakfast was excellent, ate there everyday. 9 dinners there, plenty to choose from less you are a picky eater We were escorted down 4 times to the small club to see shows, can in thru the back door. When they opened the doors I only heard one person griping about. Another Haven guest piped up to the person and said these are the perks if you want to pay the price.
  4. I know we can bring wine onboard, my question is how to store it. I forget if the refrigerators (Gem-Suite) can fit a bottle or two of wine. My wife would like to bring two bottles
  5. True but you are forgetting one thing. Suite guest on the Gem get the same perks as the Haven guest (24? suite cabins). With the exception of the use of the Haven courtyard and sundeck. Breakfast, lunch, butler, concierge all the same. Our forward suite cabin was 3K less than the cheapest Haven cabin at time of booking. The Haven on the Gem for us wasn't even close to worth considering booking because of the price difference. Maybe on one of the away class ships it would have been
  6. My wife and I are going to Bermuda the end of June with friends who have never been with. They have been in contact with several private guides who are booked the day we arrive (June 30th). Are their tour guides standing by on arrival day to take 2 on a 5-6 tour? Asking here because they are not on CC Thanks
  7. The Haven cabins on the Gem come in a number of sizes. From a one bedroom all the way up to a 3 bedroom. Our forward (non Haven suite on the Gem for the June 28th sailing was $6200 all in with the beverage package, taxes etc...
  8. Yes the full time population is about 5K. However the in season or summer population goes to about 20K in the area. 85% of those 15K extra people who "Summer" are not part of the median household income of 67K. I have a friend who owns a shop in Bar Harbor. All the businesses want as many people they can get since a lot are closed during the winter. He hopes they didn't shoot themselves in the foot
  9. Problem is its not the businesses, its the wealthy home owners who live in and around the town
