  1. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Cool and clear this morning, doesn't feel like spring yet. Hemp is a valuable commodity. I guess kindergarten is important. I like chocolate and I like cashews, but not together. I like the quote, I like Douglas Adams. The meal sounds good, hope the drink and wine are too. Have a peaceful day. Stay safe.
  2. Arriving on the day of the cruise is fraught with perils. Flights can be delayed or cancelled because of mechanical issues, crew problems, weather delays, etc. Most of us like to get to the embarkation port at least a day before the cruise departs. I think you are cutting it too close. If you decide to do either of these options, make sure you have insurance.
  3. So sad. Prayers for family and friends.
  4. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. It's cool here this morning, only 2°C (35°F). Brrr I wish it was warmer. Not sure what to make of the days. All languages should be encouraged, I've never heard of cli-fi and I'll pass on the cheddar cheese fries. Interesting quote. The meal sounds good. The drink sounds dangerous. I hope the wine is tasty. I've never been to today's port. Prayers for so many. Cheers for all the celebrations. Have a wonderful day. Stay safe.
  5. To all the garlic lovers out there, it's really easy to grow. Make sure you buy locally grown garlic, either at a farmers market or a roadside stand, do not use that stuff from China. In September or October, take a head of garlic and separate it into individual cloves. Plant each clove in your garden about 5cm (2 inches) deep and about 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 inches) apart. Use lots of compost to augment the soil. Water well. Fertilize in the spring and water as needed. When the scapes appear (early June) cut those and eat them. Do not allow the scape to form a flower. When the tops dry back, you can harvest them, probably in July or August. Air dry and store in a dry place. Each individual clove will usually produce a head of garlic. Enjoy fresh home grown garlic year after year.
  6. I've only been on 8 cruises, and the only port I've missed was St Peter Port, Guernsey Island. It's a tender port and the sea was too rough, oh well, maybe another time.
  7. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Happy Friday! It's raining. We're meeting friends for breakfast so I'll have to walk Bertie in the rain, he doesn't mind. Thanks for the info on the days Graham. Interesting quote. I've never read a book or seen a movie by King. I'll pass on the meal and the drink but I'll try the wine. Prayers for everyone. A big cheer for @kazu. Have a wonderful day everyone. Stay safe.
  8. Happy Birthday Holland America. Hope to sail with you again soon.

  10. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Thanks for the maps. Thanks for the lists. Cool with a chance of showers today. I'm not sure when the rain will start, but I hope it's after my morning walk. Good days to celebrate. Amusing quote. I'll pass on the meal. One Long Island Iced Tea on a hot summer day is more than enough for me. I hope the wine isn't expensive. Thanks for the pictures of today's port. Prayers for our world and an extra one for @kazu. Have a wonderful day. Stay safe.

  15. Good morning. Happy Hump Day. Thanks for the Report. It's raining here today, that's good for the flowers. Love mustangs, wish I had one. Interesting quote. Love rhubarb pie! Looking forward to seeing the recipes. My rhubarb is coming up in the garden, but it's not big enough to pick yet. I'll pass on the drink and hope the wine is tasty. Prayers for everyone on the Care List. Cheers for all the celebrations. Have a good day everyone. Stay safe. The daffodils are blooming, here's a picture I took yesterday when it was sunny.
  16. @Mr. Boston Condolences on the passing of your friend Lauren. Hugs to you.
  17. Good morning, thanks for the Report. A frosty morning, but the forecast is for a sunny 12°C (54°F) this afternoon. Good days to celebrate. Love the quote. The meal sounds interesting. I'm sure I'd like the cocktail and the wine. Whitehorse is an interesting place to visit. Prayers for everyone on the Care List. Cheers for all the celebrations. Have a wonderful day.
  18. Do you need an "end of cruise" pair of trousers too?😁
  19. @LambKnuckles Hope the doctor can help and you feel better soon Lambie!
  20. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. We should have a sunny 12°C (54°F) afternoon. Still too early to do much gardening, but we picked up quite a few twigs and small branches that came down in the wind a few days ago. Hubby enjoys McDonald's coffee. At one time I could sign a few things, but I've forgotten most of it, my bad. Boston Strong. I disagree with the quote, it's quite cynical. The meal sounds interesting. I'd like to try the drink. I hope the wine is good too. I've never been to today's port. Prayers for everyone. Hugs to Bruno. I hope this is the start of a good week.
