  1. Rabbit Rabbit White Rabbit Thanks for the Report. Welcome November, please be a good month. I appreciate authors, I usually don't cook for Bertie, literacy is extremely important. Interesting quote. Love chicken, looking forward to seeing recipes. I'll pass on the drink but would like the wine. We were in Juneau many years ago on our first HAL cruise. Prayers for our world. Have a great day.
  2. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Happy Hallowe'en. I think the trick or treaters will have to wear a coat under their costumes tonight, today's high is only 3°C (37°F). It'll be cooler after the sun goes down. It may rain, I hope we don't get snow. I don't carve pumpkins, I wish I had psychic powers, cheers for the Girl Scouts. I like the quote. I'll pass on the meal, not sure about the drink or wine. We were supposed to be in St Peter Port on our last cruise, but didn't because it was too choppy to tender. Maybe another time. Prayers for everyone. Have a good day. Stay safe.
  3. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Another week, hope it's a good one. Cool and rainy today. Not a fan of candy corn. Mischief night was Doorbell Night when I was a kid, ring the doorbell and run away, silly fun. Checklist Day? So many chores, so little ambition. Amusing quote. I'll pass on the meal but would like the drink and wine. Prayers for everyone. I hope there are lots of reasons to celebrate. Have a good day.
  4. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. A cool day in store for us. I think hubby and I may go for a drive and see the fall colours. I'd like to get some fresh picked apples too. Sad to hear about Matthew Perry. RIP Hermit Day? I like people but somedays I'm like Garbo "i want to be alone" (did she really say that, probably not). Many people love cats, my brother has 3. I'm sorry for those that suffer with psoriasis. Intriguing quote. The meal sounds tasty. It seems like the wrong time of year for that drink. I hope the wine is not too expensive. Prayers for our world. I hope everyone has something to celebrate, no matter how small. Stay safe.
  5. @cruising sister Thanks for the update on baby Murphy. Prayers for her.
  6. Sitting at the dining room table and no one brings me food! What's up with that? I have to cook and clean up myself. Bummer.
  7. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Happy Saturday. Good news from Maine, let the healing begin. Prayers for the victims and families. It's starting to get colder here, and very windy too. Bertie and I will head out for a walk when the sun comes up, but that doesn't happen until almost 8am. World's Largest Cocktail Party? Gator or Bulldog? I think everyday is chocolate day. Thought provoking quote. The meal sounds good, looking forward to seeing recipes. I hope the drink and wine are good too. I've never been to today's port. Prayers for our world. Have a good day. Stay safe.
  8. @0106 Thanks for the link to the recipe. It sounds delicious.
  9. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Happy Friday! This will be the last of the warmish weather for us. This afternoon we should get to a cloudy 19°C (66°F). Bertie and I will walk down to the post office and get the mail later, not sure what else is on the agenda. I don't have a black cat, I'm not a fan of beer but I appreciate and support the Navy. Interesting and amusing quote. My niece is a vegetarian, my brother says she won't eat anything with a face. The meal sounds good, so does the drink. I hope the wine is tasty. I've never been to today's port. Prayers for our world. Stay safe.
  10. I've never heard of using baking soda in soup, but I guess it's supposed to break down fibers and make the soup creamier?
  11. Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. Love the food porn. Glad you are safely home with Ivan.
  12. Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Another mild (for us) day. We should get to 21°C (70°F) this afternoon. No snow yet. I'm not a fan of mincemeat, but hubby likes it. I usually make mincemeat tarts around Christmas for him and company. We love our "horseless carriages". A big thank you to all those deployed who protect and serve us. Amusing quote. The meal sounds good, I hope the drink and wine are tasty too. I've never been to Oban, maybe someday. Prayers for our world. Stay safe.
