I've never heard of using baking soda in soup, but I guess it's supposed to break down fibers and make the soup creamier?

Good morning. Thanks for the Report. Another mild (for us) day. We should get to 21°C (70°F) this afternoon. No snow yet. I'm not a fan of mincemeat, but hubby likes it. I usually make mincemeat tarts around Christmas for him and company. We love our "horseless carriages". A big thank you to all those deployed who protect and serve us. Amusing quote.
