  1. Is anyone booked on the Feb 2023 cruise which includes Cuba. I have had a look at the entry form required and apart from the fact you can't fill it in until the month you cruise, when asked what ship/airline you are on there are no ships on the list, only airlines!! Am I missing something🤔 Molly
  2. We were on the Azura in October and found the same. One evening I ordered apple and rhubarb crumble with custard and a scoop of ice cream, when it came the crumble and custard were cold and the ice cream had melted🥶, the wait staff were lovely but really understaffed and many were inexperienced.
  3. We did our 1st cruise with Marella last November and really enjoyed it, so much so that we have booked another for next February (both Caribbean cruises). We have previously cruised with P&O, but their Caribbean itinerary never changes. We found the food to be fine and the staff were lovely, the upgraded drinks is well worth it.
  4. The police need to get the water cannons out, they are a bl**dy nuisance, selfish and dangerous. I agree with Brian 1, but I don't think they have a working brain cell between them!!!
  5. The last time we went from Southampton we had to go to the short stay car park and had to pay! The meter is right at the bottom of the car park.
  6. We fly with Jet 2 tomorrow from East Midlands Airport and checked in on-line a couple of weeks ago, but when I first tried it wouldn't work, so I left it a couple of days and all was fine. Molly
  7. Thank you Terri, you have put my mind at rest. That was one of the reasons I booked a P&O trip, not something we usually do. Molly
  8. Thank you, I will have a think about it and do a little more research☺️
  9. I have booked this trip through P&O, just under £100 for 2 of us, with our discount, which I didn't think was too expensive. I have a question regarding the trip. It says the activity is moderate and as I am not as fit as I used to be (understatement of the year!!) and have problems walking, especially uphill, I am wondering if I have bitten off more than I can chew😲Any advice would be welcome. Thanks Molly
  10. We have paid just over 6k for 2 weeks in a balcony cabin including the upgraded drinks package and airport meet and greet parking, so all we have to take is spending money, but one thing that swung it for us is the itinerary, we have been to all of the islands visited by P&O many times, but only 1 on the Marella cruise, Guatemala, and also the size of the ship, but whichever you choose, I am sure you will have a fabulous time.
  11. There were not any children on when we went in November 2021, which was nice. I think Discovery 2 has just had a refurb, but our cabin on Discovery was nice - it was an outside with a large picture window, but we have gone for a balcony for next Feb.
  12. You are not sad, we visited Guadeloupe about 4 years ago for the same reason😂. Regarding the bars, there were a couple with just a piano playing one of which was the atrium, that was on Discovery, we are booked on Discovery 2 next year. Molly
  13. We have been cruising on P&O to the Caribbean since 2010 and have always enjoyed them, but the itineraries are very "samey", so we decided to try Marella last year. The main difference is Marella are more casual i.e they have a dress to impress night, but it is voluntary so no areas are off limits if you don't want to dress up. We found the entertainment was much better, one downside is there were no quiet bars. We liked the size of the ship, I think there were 2 - 2,500 passengers, so no huge queues to get off or on when in port. Overall we preferred Marella for the Caribbean so we have booked another one for February next year - Flavours of the Caribbean followed by Exotic Explorer😁. Hope this helps Molly
  14. As far as can remember there was nowhere to buy bottles of lemonade etc, but I think you can buy cans via room service. We purchased cans of tonic water on one cruise. Molly
  15. I laminate ours, works a treat😊
  16. We did our first Marella cruise last November and really liked it. The dress is a lot less formal (shorts in MDR) but not scruffy and the food we had was fine. We usually cruise with P&O and the Marella cruise was different but still very enjoyable.
  17. We print ours off, laminate them and attach with staples, never lost one yet😁 Molly
