Anyone with experience with Chesterfield London?

Cruising in April; all hotels seem expensive. I bit the bullet and booked Springhill Suites for 1 night. Have stayed there previously. Airport shuttle. Breakfast. Shuttle to ship, extra charge. Very good location. I kept waiting hoping prices would fall; no such luck. Shop around and choose what appears to be best for you

Specialty dining problems? Just phone them and they will arrange. I have elite beverage package on an upcoming cruise . I understand that means top shelf alcohol but have no idea which brands that involves. Does anyone have examples?

Thanks for your answer. I always order flowers. Remember when HAL had abundant flower arrangements throughout the ship? My sister who historically pooh pools cruising is sailing with me; her 1st cruise. I really am focused on her having a positive experience.

Just interested in Sandwich because of the proximity to Dover. Have been to Canterbury and it's nice; just thought I'd try something new. No to golf.

When checking out Barbados accommodations I suggest Cobblers Cove for luxury and Round House for budget with remarkable views.

Obviously the beach is out. What do you suggest for the day.

There was a fabulous sound and light at the cathedral when I visited. No sure if it's still on, but if, definitely worth sitting out in the evening to watch.

My tip; plan to play for the fun of it. If you win then it's a bonus.

Staying near Termini overnight to board cruise next day. 1.is there a reasonable authentic (read not touristy) restaurant in the area that you would recommend? Attempting to book a train from Termini Rome to Citivecchia in October (29). Trains appear to be sold out on multiple sites. Is this the norm? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Aster House in South Kensington is nice, reasonable, and recommended by Rick Steve's. Good location. No elevator. Must book through their website.

Hoping they install library with upcoming drydock. OK I can hope.
