  1. That is actually wrong. The single supplement does not apply when two people have paid. In this case, she was charged a cancelation fee equal to her brother's cruise fare of $289. A $75 single supplement on top of that should not have been charged. But we worked it out with customer service and her money was supposedly refunded. We'll see if they actually do.
  2. Agreed. Will gladly pay more for a better experience.
  3. Seems pretty typical for MSC - they charged my friend an extra $75 on her cruise because her cabin mate had to cancel. They already kept his fare of $289 - that was the penalty. But then they charged her an additional $75 penalty. Honestly, I haven't even been on our cruise yet and already know this will be my last with MSC.
  4. Our entire group is in standard balcony cabins with the exception of one that's interior, and we all got 10:30 boarding time. We got our boarding time when we were able to check in 20 days prior.
  5. To each their own. If I smelled weed, I’d ask to join. Better than cigarettes.
  6. It's not hard to order keto anywhere you go. Meats, certain veggies, etc. Just tell them what you want.
  7. Great! We got the same $200 OBC. We're going in January on the 4 night.
  8. Even if it says no midship cabins are available on deck 10, book it then call and ask. I wanted an aft facing cabin on Deck 10, but they did not show available online. I was able to call and they switched me to an aft facing cabin on deck 10 at the same price.
  9. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't with this! LOLOL
  10. Just FYI, you can also call to find out if a specific cabin you want is available. They only show a limited amount available when you book online. I booked one that was available but they called and was able to get a aft balcony on deck 10 that otherwise did not show available.
  11. Yes! I just rebooked mine the other day. Had to cancel and rebook a new cruise but worked out to be $100 cheaper than what I had booked, plus I got the onboard credit of $100. This is for a 4 night sailing on Meraviglia
  12. Thanks for the advice! Ended up booking the Sheraton Suites near the airport for $129 a night, and it has a separate living room so we can share with a friend. We don’t arrive until 7pm so decided that was our best bet. Then we can relax and enjoy a drink at the hotel bar. Another friend is arriving the following morning early (fingers crossed) so she’ll meet us all at the hotel and we can all go to the port together. really looking forward to this cruise!! It’s our first since 2015 and we’re celebrating 3 birthdays onboard. A much needed celebration since none of us could celebrate the last two. Phew, I’m talking a lot. Thanks again, y’all.
  13. Where does everyone stay for cruises departing Cape Canaveral? Not many great choices I’m seeing so deciding on whether to stay in Orlando and Uber from there, or just suck it up and stay somewhere more expensive/more points in Cape Canaveral. For reference, I’m a Marriott bonvoy member so typically try to stay at Marriott properties so I can use and/or get points. thanks!
