Hi. I've just had the same for both my ex Southampton cruises for 2017. We are leaving at 4pm rather than 4.30pm. No issues there.

Worst menu of the cruise sadly :(

We booked our July 2017 Eclipse cruise about 5 weeks ago (before all the big price rises). Under the new 50% promotion our exact booking would be £812 cheaper, although we would lose the $400 OBC. All in all the new promotion is about £500 cheaper. Since the deposit was £450 there is not point cancelling and re-booking.
Not that thrilled for our first Celebrity Cruise experience. We fell out with P&O after their price drops and vantage fair broken promises.
Same here. Make sure you complain. The more of us that do and the message not to be so deceptive may get through

Celebrity will adjust your fare as long as it's before final payment. My advise is to keep your eye on the price because it could be reduced again.
Unless you are in the U.K. then it's tough luck

Fantastic :)
Thanks so much for doing this

The UK version of the sale started today. I took a screenshot of an Eclipse 14 night cruise yesterday. Yesterday a balcony, drinks package and $400 OBC was £2054pp. Today it's £1545pp with drinks package. So a definite price drop on this one. Booked it today.

Makes you sick when you talked friends into coming along in June 17 and they booked 2 weeks ago. Today's price would save them £900! But of course we have to cancel, loose deposit and rebook in the U.K. I appreciate prices go up but with all the pushy marketing right up to 31st counting down until the offer ended it does make you smell a rat!
I had a similar situation with Oceania cruises who happily let me cancel and rebook at no cost. Just goes to show it's not being governed by U.K. law which was always the no deposit refund excuse we were given before.
Not happy at all!

So friends booked last week after numerous pushy must end soon communications from Celebrity and a week later they are £700 out of pocket. Disgusting!

That does not explain price rises in the UK. We neither have Labor (or, even, Labour) Day nor Labor Day Sales.
You can be sure the buy 1 get one half price promotion will return at the start of September though. I have a feeling in order to do that they have to have a week of selling the cruises at the new elevated price!

I can sense the second person half price promotion coming soon!

I belong to another Celebrity chat group and someone onboard now is raving about the production shows. They also are saying Topper is one of the best shows they've seen at sea
Sounds like the drinks package is being used to it's maximum benefit :)

I was also on this cruise. What a great time we all had. Cant wait until Norway in April 17 and the Baltic again in June 17 :)

I was surprised to see Oriana for sale online :(

I guess people have different taste. The magician, juggler and ventriloquist IMO are boring and very corny-
I do agree good comedy is essential on a cruise ship and should be offered in combination with other types of performances at least every other day. Perhaps also like RC a broadway show would be great entertainment.
I agree they can be corny but night after night of samey musical acts are tedious too. I agree more comedy and some Broadway tribute acts would help

On eclipse now. Almost all guest shows are musical performers of some sort. It gets very boring day after day. Time for a comedian, magician, juggler, ventriloquist etc

I'm a club / bar DJ in the UK and have experienced the new shows. Although it is nice to have some more up to date music in the shows, the complete lack of story makes the whole experience seem pointless.
Watching performers going in and out of doors on stage taking about a chandelier then singing random songs was tedious at best. And as for a top hat.... well enough said.
As much as the older shows were the same old they seemed to work far better.... in my opinion.

Will save money for me then as won't be going there [emoji51]

I would imagine they are staying in a state of high alert for the first week at least. Hope to hear some good news soon

Hi,
Just seeing if there are any updates from onboard the current cruise?
Thanks

I have to agree with all the comments. I liked the previous shows, but last November experienced the new shows for the first time. In comparison they were dreadful. Such a shame :(
-
I am also baffled by the comment, It seems that every week there is a post where someone is complaining about the slow internet on ship. So RCCL bumps up the speed on both lines to make em happy. Now we have the comment that because of the internet available it is time for someone to stop cruising! Totally baffling.
I guess people just like to moan all the time. Personally I don't care in the slightest what others do on a cruise as long as it does Ito effect me in any way [emoji3]

There is no excuse for not washing your hands. I wash mine before dinner. Use the sanitizer gel when entering the dining room...and I take my own gel and re-sanitize after touching the menu. I guess that's a little over kill but I work in a hospital and I know how nasty people can be.
I am certain people run their hands down the stair rails, use the restroom and not wash, then go handle a menu (which later gets passed to someone else) then they pick up bread and eat with their hands. YUCK.
I do exactly the same as you everywhere. Best to be sure eh.
Would you like to see the shows live as they happen???

Thanks for the offer. Sadly the new shows on eclipse are so awful in comparison to the previous shows letting people see them online can only do harm to their reputation. Such a shame that the quality of the shows has gone so far downhill.
