OK to clarify...I am talking about the same CABIN.

We have done 4 NCL & I have done 1 MSC. NCL shows/comedians MUCH better. Musicians/activities comparable. Service 1st Getaway was OK, 2nd was GREAT, Encore was not great. Didn't "connect" with one crew member--that has NEVER happened in 25+ cruises. MSC the service overall was not great but had a couple fantastic bartenders/servers plus activities staff was pretty fun. MSC has darn great prices. ***Was the Syd Norman's band playing other nights besides the Rumors show? They were my FAVORITE on our Getaway cruises.

If we were to change a passenger name on a reservation is there a fee? A change fee would be fine but will they try to charge them the prevailing rate? (MUCH higher than we paid) This is on a Med cruise with the air promo added.

So I have been reading on another site about people being booked on different flights even tho they are on the same reservation. Someone reported that they had changed the wording in the terms & no longer guarantee being on the same flight. I just read the terms & it specifically says you WILL be on the same flight. I am wondering if anyone has had such an experience of being booked on different flights.

I canceled a cruise after final payment & the CNS that I used was not reimbursed. (even tho we were at 25% penalty window) If I cancel BEFORE final payment will I lose my CNS also? Or will they be returned to my account? ( I have read the terms & it appears so, but I am confused after my last experience)

I suspect the 3 year commitment is what they need to make it work as a business?

Sent email to existing reservations & called today. Transferred to Casino Concierge. They said I must fill out form. (I DID) So I have sent email to the concierge. AND we wait...

Just read the article on CNN last night. https://www.lifeatseacruises.com/ Pricing is damn good if you compare to Viking at 60Kpp for 4 months. Of course the cheapest ones require INT or OV. And 3 years is a heck of a commitment even if you plan to share with others. But this is a TRUE WORLD cruise--very thorough. Open the brochure to see the ports. Wish I could convince DH to do this...the golf focus might get him to think about it! (sorry I truly do not know how it is linking me back to THIS thread below & it will NOT let me delete it!)

Sailed SV on Edge decks 7 & 8 & loved them! You can ask for a lounger to be brought to your veranda. The ones in the middle tend to be a bit more spacious. Be sure to put a towel on chair/lounger before sitting as they can get sooty. Enjoy!

We are taking our 1st Beyond cruise in April (tho we have done Edge 2x & Apex--Eclass are my FAV ships) as well as our 1st Retreat cruise and SOO excited--can't wait to see how you both enjoy it!

Last time I called MSC took 90 minutes to remedy...sigh...

This is disheartening to hear no one seems to be getting answers. (MSC isn't known for strength in communications...) Submitted the form yesterday, nothing yet. We head to Vegas Monday. Guess if I get no response I'll just return in & try when we get back.

We got the Celebrity Visa in October 2022 via an email offering of 30K sign up points after minimum purchases. We have more than made those purchases. Yet the 30K extra points have never made it to our account! I have scoured the Bank of America site & it is clear as mud as to who I need to call to get those bonus points added on. Does anyone know who to call?? (I realize this is a shot in the dark...but I feel this is probably the place I could most likely find someone who knows, IF anyone does!)

I just got INT to OV for $50 total...that OV was more than that when I booked! On Celebrity & NCL we have had good luck going from INT to BALC w/ min bids. (remember more balconies than any other cabin category) Our friends paid $4K for a balcony on the Equinox...we got INT for $2500 plus $350 bid got us balcony. (we didn't tell them...)

The beauty of Celebrity is that you can pay the price difference on a higher priced drink.
