The summer 2024 Mediterranean itineraries are scheduled to go on sale 14 December for Elites and 15 December generally. Imagine it will be a while until 2025 is released.

Emailed to cancel our provisional hold on May 24 for Apex Norway. Dh said no to an SV at £4500. We are paying less than that for Silhouette next May in Aqua. A shame but he agrees should relook later.
We booked the eight night May 24 cruise and SV cabin yesterday. Always thought Celebrity prices were higher than other cruise lines - we normally sail with Princess - so didn’t think it was unreasonable. That was before I started seeing comments here and on social media.
Do you know whether we are able to reprice in the future? On Princess, in the U.K., this can be done once subject to a £50 per person admin fee.

Thanks for letting us know. We were looking forward to booking next week. Did your TA say why there has been a delay?

If you phone the number in his absence there are other top people who will be covering.

Thanks. Will give it a go. -

If you are really keen phone Jamie Doherty the Elite sales guy at Carnival House, Southampton. 0344 338 8661 ext 2013. He will definitely tell you and you have made a useful contact who you can later consult with your bookings.
Regards John
Thanks for the response. We use Jamie but unfortunately he’s going to be away next week so cannot help this time. -
Does anyone know what time the cruises go on sale for Elite members on the 8th please?

To be honest, the first 3 voyages seem to be incredibly pricey so start saving now!
Yes they definitely aren’t cheap. Hoping that’s because they’re the inaugural cruises and prices might be lower at the end of August. Not holding my breath though. -

Thanks for sharing. We have chosen which cruise we’d like to sail on and debated which cabin to book. The only problem is not knowing the prices. I wish they’d publish these a few days ahead so people could plan. I expect if we emailed our Princess cruise specialist, he wouldn’t have the information either. Difficult to book blind.

Cruise deck plans dot com have posted the Sun on their website. Seems they have gotten a preliminary plan with labels on most spaces. Not all space names/details are final of course but it gives a good idea of what we can expect. Overall I am pleased. Curiously there appear to be zero dining venues available on the upper decks, except for the “altitude” restaurant which I assume will be for the suites, or a very pricey specialty dining venue.
Thanks for flagging this. Very interesting to see but wonder how they managed to obtain so much detail when the Princess website version is blanked out. Confirms the rope course and glider thingy on the upper decks. -

Neither of those things are spherical.
Going with the retired ships’ name route rather than spherical.

Would imagine the next one will be either Star or Sea.

Disappointed to see the new cruises are not yet online to view. We’re Elite so could phone to book but really only want to see the details as we’ll be in South America with Viking during the three inaugural cruises.

And restaurants specifically for suites…

Very similar to P&O’s Iona.

It’s Sun Princess. People have already posted info on Twitter.

Ignore the number of people onboard excuse. We sailed on Sky Princess in October 2019 and could stream YouTube and Netflix content and the ship was full seeing as it was an inaugural cruise. Same in September 2021 but with less passengers as it was the first cruise back after the pandemic. In March 2022, couldn’t even open emails. Something fundamentally changed in early 2022 and not for the better.
We ended up cancelling a 25 night Canada & New England cruise this September as a result of our March cruise. Couldn’t bear the internet struggle given the number of sea days during the cruise which is sailing from Southampton. Internet really is a modern day necessity on any ship despite what people might think about cruising to get away from the internet and switching off their devices.

Hi All. Thanks for your input. I expect we’ll end up continuing on the shortened cruise but upgrade to a higher cabin category as many people have cancelled.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting that there is still no mention of the new Sphere Class ship. Wonder if it's delayed or going to happen at all.

Hi All
Hoping someone might be able to help with a query re FCCs accumulated during the pandemic for cancelled cruises. We had a cruise cancelled in March 2020 right at the beginning of the pandemic. We received the money paid and bonus FCC for the cancellation. We used this to book a cruise which we then cancelled before booking onto another. The second cruise, which is on the Emerald in October 2022, has just been shortened from 12 to 10 nights and we've received FCC back on our account for the cancelled days. However, this FCC expires on 31 December 2022 and seemingly we have to sail before then. Does anyone know what happens to expired FCCs? Are they lost or are they refunded? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

You weren’t downgraded. The term “Plus Package” did not exist when you booked. It does now so that is what they call what you bought. At the time you booked you purchased a plan that included drinks $12 or less, no Specialty Dining and no photos. (Although during the Best Sale Ever you did get one Specialty Dining thrown in.). The Plus package that now shows on your booking contains all the same features. If they gave you the Premier Package, you would get drinks up to $18, two Specialty Dining credits and photos. You did not pay for that and there is no reason why they should just hand you that simply because they changed their naming convention.
My concern is about whether drink prices are going to rise meaning I have less choice because the $12 price limit is no longer sufficient to cover the higher prices. I’m not worried about all the other bells and whistles of the new premier package. -

Sorry, can't do it. Taking too long to load !
Which says to me that the internet is still as dire as it was on our Sky Princess cruise in March. Basic websites we’re fine but couldn’t use social media. Booked on the 25 night Canada & New England cruise in September. Still debating whether or not to pay the final balance given the various negativity from recent passengers on food, service (possibly due to reduced crew numbers) etc. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you finding these things on the Regal? -
We’ve just spotted on our booking booked some time ago that we’ve now been downgraded to the plus package when it clearly stated on our original booking that we had the premier package. Our final payment date is 26 June so seemingly around when any changes might be known onboard so too late for us to know before paying for our $13,000 cruise. This is a 25 night cruise on Sky Princess in September. We will be speaking to our Princess cruise specialist on Monday to say that unless the premier package is reinstated on our booking, we will be cancelling. Whether this works or not, we won’t be booking a Princess cruise ever again. The product has diminished too much since the pandemic and, whilst we know they have to recoup their money, we feel they are going too far. Best internet at sea? Not according to our last cruise it isn’t. Although I now see they are advertising it as best Wi-Fi at sea 🙄 What next, you have to pay for your bed linen to be changed?

Amazing show - saw it on Sky Princess earlier in the year. In my opinion, the best show Princess has done. Not sure it’s to everyone’s taste though - an older couple walked out within a couple of minutes which was a shame as they missed a treat. Hoping to see it again on Enchanted Princess in August.

Heikki Laakkonen, Sky Princess’s captain said the new ship is the first ever Princess ship to have azipods.

Early Bookings for 2024 Dec.14th
in Princess Cruises

Ridiculous prices for Sun Princess. Think we’ll wait until the dust settles. Princess is pricing themselves out of the market. Luxury lines are cheaper. Plus, based on recent experience, the product needs to improve to justify the prices.
