Whichever cruises eventually go to Israel, I guarantee that I won’t be on them. Plan to spend my holiday money elsewhere, thank you.

These custom cocktails are all well and good if they have the ingredients to make them. They probably will for the first few months before the cocktails become a shadow of what they were. This has been my experience based on Good Spirits when it was first introduced on Sky Princess.

Anyone feel that the double height glass wall on the ‘promenade’ deck is to stop people ‘falling’ overboard? With all other decks with the lower rail, there appears to be another deck below so if someone were to fall, this would be onto the deck rather than the water.

Thanks for sharing. Still no confirmation on whether the menu is the same. I did see a Filet Mignon on the one that was posted higher up in the thread. The breakfast menu certainly looked extensive too so I’m holding out hope that it is better at least.

Pictures starting to appear on Facebook. So far a Penthouse Suite (with Lavazza coffee machine) and a Balcony cabin.

Perhaps the Signature benefits have been added to make the rooms more attractive once the reviews start coming out that there’s no privacy on the balcony? Thankfully I knew all about these issues (and the Cabana deck ones) from watching YouTube videos on P&O’s similar ships. Here’s hoping a new thread is started on Wednesday for those on the first sailing.

Having caught up on all the posts since the cancellation, my recommendation to Princess would be to be more open about what has happened because the rumours will continue snowballing: By the way, my cabin steward on the Discovery Princess said the new Sun Princess is going to be sold for scrap because they fitted the wrong type of toilet paper holders in the Sky Suites 🤔🤣🙄

How do you know there wasn’t a proper buffer but prior delays had already blown through that hence this cancellation?

Really disappointing to not see the PR ramping up yet. Even the crew aren’t posting anything on Instagram although I believe this is because they aren’t allowed to. With just two weeks to go until the first cruise, I would have thought the PR machine would have started by now.

Connected to this, we have just booked two cruises separately to make a B2B. We’re in separate cabins but on the same deck and similar location. Do you think Princess will automatically recognise this or should we call to link the two bookings?

I saw it on Mark Zuckerberg’s social media site this morning in one of the Princess groups.

We have received an email for the 12 September 2025 cruise on Star Princess. We were sailing for 18 days so two 9 day cruises back to back. Trieste has been replaced by two nights in Istanbul. Messina has also been dropped and Mykonos has been added. This isn’t too bad but other ports have been shuffled and we are now left with three ports (four if you include the overnight in Istanbul) repeating over the 18 nights. We had specifically chosen this cruise to avoid too many repeats. Hopefully this gives us the opportunity to change the booking.

We were on the 31 August sailing last year. It was a great cruise as managed to get into Greenland. However, I wish we had sailed one of the earlier August cruises as it was freezing and wet by the time we reached Iceland.

Have to admit, the content resulting from the recent ship visit has been very disappointing. Always think it’s weird that people get invited on the freebie trips by cruise lines in the cruise line’s hope that it leads to free publicity but it seems it seldom does. It’s as though invitees take the money (free trip) and run.

Me too. Wasted opportunity having two ships of the same design doing the same itineraries but what do we know?

Thank you Coral for sharing. It seriously looks as though Princess has run out of ideas. How many ships do they need doing the same seven day itineraries?

I’d be very surprised if Love at $149 was included in the Premier package. Does anyone know if 360, Chef’s Table etc. on other ships is included currently?
