I don't think that I would consider it a step down. I've never sailed on Brillance but HAVE sailed on her sister ships. However, I've sailed on Enchantment a couple of times and love it. Enchantment was actually cut in half and lengthened years ago. It's a great ship and I wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again if she was closer.

Yes Charles, it's our Bermuda cruise and Bahama cruise right after. This wasn't required in February but wanted to make certain. I appreciate your response.

I have an upcoming cruise in September. My husband and I were vaccinated in February and March of 2021 and received our booster in October of 2021. Are we required to have another booster before sailing? All that I have read just says vaccination required.

Not canceled, just your ship has been redeployed, you will also be assigned another ship for your sailing. You will get another similar category Cabin you had on Brilliance for the same price you are all ready paying. (Price Protected). Believe your new ship is Enchantment.
Enchantment is a great ship and would prefer it over Brilliance. Please update us when you know anything.

I have an upcoming Bermuda cruise and looking at tours. Most land tours are 5+ hours and I'm not too interested in that length. Anyone has any information about tours? Can you get a water taxi from the cruise port to Hamilton? We will be there half of two days and one full day.

Cafe Promenade is open.
They don't have a Cafe Promenade on Jewel, unless that has been added recently.

What restaurants/eateries are open on embarkation, other than Windjammer? Is coffee at Latitudes free, like the Cafe Promenade, or is there a charge?

Thanks Merion_Mom!

Does Mariner have a Sorrento's? I don't see it on a deck plan but the last time we were on that ship, back in 2019, I thought we were able to get pizza somewhere. Perhaps Cafe Promenade?

My husband and I had our Covid vaccination Feb/March 2021 with a booster in October 2021......nothing since. We are seriously considering not getting another booster. We have a B2B for 9/11 and are wondering if we will be able to cruise without another booster. Any thoughts/experiences?

You will receive a detailed TAD letter in your cabin a day or two prior to TAD advising you of the TAD process/procedures, where and when to meet and what you will need to bring with you for your specific cruise on TAD. You also will be notified when and where you need to meet on day 6 for your covid tests.
Thanks for your response.

Out of PC on Indy January 2022 and we were escorted off, waited in the baggage area until the ship got a 0 count from CBP, then were escorted back on. We met in the Star Lounge at 9 am, were escorted off around 9:45, and were back on by 10:30
Thanks for your response, it’s much appreciated.

Out of Port Canaveral on Mariner in September

I have a B2B planned for September and wonder what the current procedure is between cruises. Do you get off the ship, does a custom’s official come on board (which was done at one time), what time do you get off and back on, is breakfast only served in Windjammer, etc.

I have basic WiFi/one user (no streaming) and can’t get a clear answer to my question. Can you go onto YouTube with basic ? Will you be notified if you get or try to get into streaming accidentally or do you suddenly get charged for streaming?

Have RCCL ships returned to Labadee?

It has been a LONG time since I haven't had gratuities prepaid. Aren't they added to your account daily? Just want to make sure that I don't need to take extra money for that. We will give extra but my concern it the main gratuity.

I always print my Set Sail Pass....just in case there is a problem. For the first time, this Set Sail Pass is split between two pages. Do you print it split or do you cut and tape it together? I'm sure I won't need it but I always want a hard copy.

Finally! It took more than 24 hours, but today, the validation was complete.

We just booked an Independence cruise and have completed the check in. QUESTION....I have taken the photo of our Vaccination card and it asks for "last dose". We have gotten our booster, so I entered the date of the booster. Right now the App keeps saying "We are validating your record". On a precious cruise, the info dropped right in within a few minutes. Should I have entered the date of our second dose rather than the booster?

We did a side by side in November/December. They tested us the last day of the first cruise. We had one day on land in the port city, and then got on the second ship. We were on our own regarding transportation to/from ship and hotel accommodations.
Worked fine.

This is exactly our situation. We will be on Harmony in February, it returns on Sunday and will board Independence on Monday. It's almost impossible to reach RCCL to verify that they are still doing this. Hopefully that is the case, otherwise, we would probably not do the Independence cruise. Did you go to Guest Services the first few days of your cruise to set this up? Do you have to carry your information for your second cruise or do they have access to that?
-
We will be on Harmony on 2/20, which comes into port on Sunday 2/27. We have booked Independence for the following day, 2/28. I understand Royal will do the testing for you but want to verify that they do this even if you will be on a different ship leaving the next day. If so, do I set up the testing the first day or so at Guest Relations? Do I take my booking info for the Independence cruise to show them? We've never done this before and just want to be sure we've taken care of everything.

Many of them. Google park Port Canaveral.
Big brand new one, though has grassy lot near the draw bridge on state road 3 (Courtenay Parkway) on the north side of the bridge. I have always liked ParknCruise. They give you a free park for every 5, and do Veterans discounts.
Just wish Park n Cruise were shuttling more than every 30 minutes.....according to their website.

Hi. Are there other places to park besides the terminal lot, like a Park n Go? Or, any other outside lots with shuttle service to the port?
We use Park n Cruise almost 95% of the time. Problem now is that they are running buses every half hour. I don't want to wait after disembarkation, for perhaps 30 minutes before another bus comes. They are great though and they will probably be up and running as normal, whenever ships are full.
No Bermuda Travel Authorisation

I just found out about this Travel Authorization today. Our travel agent said that this requirement came out of the blue. I suppose I understand them wanting a record of vaccination and the health form filled out but really think that requiring a $40 fee per person is a bit ridiculous. Regardless, we have to do it.
Our travel agent mentioned this Travel Authorization to us today, does your cruise line (RCCL) notify you that this needs to be done? Our travel agent sent a link to the form but suggested we not complete it just yet as our cruise isn't until 9/11. Does this sound right? Thank goodness she just mentioned it in passing, otherwise we wouldn't have known to expect it.
