I just saw on Oasis for our cruise that the Drink Pkg. is $45. & then 2nd. one is half off. Does that mean the 2nd. one would be $22.50? Does that sound like a good deal?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get to Magen's Beach in St. Thomas from where Oasis docks? Are there cabs at the port to just take you over so you don't have to book an excursion?

One question in regards to people "reserving" pool chairs! Do crew members come around after 30 min. & remove towels, etc. to free up any chairs like they do on some of the other ships? This is one thing that really annoys me, some people don't know how to follow the rules !

It will be coming to Tampa so very easy for us as we are only about 45 min. from the port! We too have never been on NCL so not sure. :confused: Look forward to more of your review & pictures.

One question, do you have the dining pkg. & do you know what the extra charge is for some of the specialty restaurants?

Can anyone tell me how the photographers are on the Pearl? prices for pictures, do they have lots of different backgrounds, etc.

We never worry about hurricane's as the Captain is not going to risk his ship being hit by one. We were on Oasis last year when Irma was hitting P.R. but we were in the western Caribbean & ended up with 3 extra days at no additional cost, free use of the phones on the ship to call home & half price drinks, so IMO it was great !

Living in Florida for over 60 yrs. we don't let storms rule our lives. :D

We are going on a cruise at the end of Oct. 2018, my passport expires March of 2019. The cruise is out of Port Canaveral & returns to Port Canaveral. Do I need to renew before we go? :confused:

No, it’s the opposite...we stayed in room 1224, and had a view of the port from our balcony.

Getting ready to book Oasis for the fall of 2018 & my son & his wife will want to buy the drink pkg. How do they go about finding it on the website to keep checking prices & will they need their booking # ? We are paying for the cruise but they are paying for their own drinks, etc.

Oh thanks everyone for the info. I will let her know & we will book her under her name that's on her passport.

We are taking our adult kids on a cruise in the fall. Our son's girlfriend has a passport with her married name (she's been divorced for awhile) but her drivers license has her maiden name. Does she need to change her passport to her maiden name? Her passport is still current. She doesn't go by her married name.

Just wondering if anyone has ever asked their TA for more amenities on top of what they are offering?
