  1. Official wait times were shorter in February. Expedited is now “7 to 9 weeks”, as per the website. So I am less confident getting it on time. I will know more when I call on the 26th. I already have plans to fly across country to fetch if that becomes necessary.
  2. So exactly how many weeks was it when it arrived in the your mail box from when they received your application?
  3. They received my application and check on May 3rd. I requested expedited delivery. My cruise is 5 weeks from that date. So by your experience, I should be fine. Did you do this recently? I ask because every month or so the wait time increases.
  4. When I called Celebrity about my cruise out of Vancouver , they said 6 months. Don’t you just love consistency?🙄
  5. Man I am on edge waiting for my passport. I may have to travel across country to get it more immediately, but they also say appointments are scarce to do that. yikes!
  6. This topic is both interesting and scary. I hope I get mine soon!
  7. I really did like the gold though. Sorry to se that go but maybe that color was hard to keep looking good.
  8. That’s what I thought. The “called in” expression threw me off. I was pretty sure that he stopped by the muster station on the way to dropping off his luggage.😉 I will plan on doing the same on the way to my cabin.
  9. Cool…..when you said “called into”, do you mean you went to your muster station? Make sense since you often board on that deck, so probably short walk from there.
  10. Thanks . My last cruise was Millennium Alaska 2019 and doing this same trip and ship in June. Thanks for the refresher on check- in. We will stop off at our muster station as soon as we drop luggage….. or is that too soon?
  11. Agree…. We did the walk to Smith a couple of times. It is a LONG way from any hotels.
  12. I did the same whenever I travelled with my handicapped friend. The air worked much better for making pressure adjustments. Stewards were very accommodating.
  13. Thanks….nice to know I can also do the app Muster Drill before getting on the ship. That does have to be on ship departure day… or can that be done earlier? I did already notice the wellness check with my boarding pass on the app, but I thought it had to be done again at peer. Glad I don’t have to and as brief as it is, at cruise time I am always excited to actually get on board.:)
  14. I am unclear on when and exactly where is the wellness check-in at the port in Vancouver . I have a wellness check-in time at 11:30 so I just look for a line heading into the check in line and join it? Are you saying we can avoid the 11:30 wellness checkin if we do it online the night before and will just have normal check-in we always have on a cruise?
  15. Have been to Butchart Gardens many times. Always beautiful but agree the time I caught the tulip season was the most stunning.
  16. Looks like a fun trip. Take good care of the Millennium. We will be on her in Alaska.
  17. Thanks for all the reports from everyone aboard! The ship is headed North to begin Alaska. I will be onboard her June 9th and these reports made me even more excited!
  18. That is strange. The only time I have come close to that is when I was on a solo cruise, I found flowers in my room. I thought who could have sent them until it dawned on me they were still in good condition from the previous occupant. I actually thought it was nice that the steward didn’t want to waste perfectly good flowers.
  19. "Why can't they be like we were, perfect in every way?🎵 What's the matter with kids today ??"🎵
  20. I don’t think that is a silly question. They always have in past, but with all the changes who knows if they still do this.
