Does anyone know if you can buy cigarettes on board and what the prices are? We will be on a 3 day cruise on P&O, on longer cruises you can usually buy at the bars and pretty cheap. Just want to know if it’s different for shorter cruises. Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I didn’t think it was worth it’s own thread. Cheers

Yes, that’s a great deal. We are taking my first offer from Players Club in December. A 3 day comedy cruise for $200 total for both of us and a $50 credit in the casino. If it appeals, take it, not everyone gets these offers. My Mum is not happy as she spent much longer in the casino than me on our last cruise and she got no offers.

I have to agree with you there, I loved the Love Riot show. I was probably thinking more along the lines of food, although I am hearing that has greatly improved post Covid.

I love the Aussie P & O ships, but they are not for everyone. Princess would be a step or three up from P & O Australia.

Right, I wish it was a little closer, I’m about 3 hours, but far better than flying to Sydney. Cruising from Adelaide is looking like a good option too. It’s only a little further and the cruises to WA look appealing, I need warm weather.

Not sure about the close to cruise terminal, of my 6 cruises, 2 of which were on Royal, only 1 was out of Melbourne. I prefer South Pacific cruises and not many of them seem to be out of Melbourne.

For those trying to work out why some get these offers, I have no idea, but some information that might be relevant. My last cruise with P&O was Christmas 2019(phew, just made it). This was a group booking of 6. We did spend a bit of time in the casino, but not a lot of money, my Mum would have spent the most. I drank in there, but I had a drink package. I played the tables and pokies. The second offer is one I had previously received and missed, big ooops, as it is a better offer. Pretty sure they are the only exclusive offers I have had.
