  1. As a former wife of someone win the military, there are worst things than being quarantined for two weeks on some military base.
  2. We'll be on the Splendor mid April. We've had flu shots and pneumonia shots and are in good health. Our thinking is, if something is going to happen to us, we'd rather be doing something we like rather than sitting in a rocking chair in front of the TV doing nothing. From the Splendor, we'll be spending a few days in Barcelona before flying down to Cairo for a few days then on to a Nile River cruise. As a precaution, we will take along some extra medications. Life does go on.

It's not a matter of showing off. If in the end tipping became really vulgar, JMO you must have been on one of the monster ships.
  4. It's been a week since we disembarked Hong Kong from a cruise that started in Dubai. We had no problems whatsoever.
  5. We use a TA too for all of the reasons you state for a cruise. We book our own air. :-)
  6. The Seabourn Club brochure in light and small print at the bottom of the tier pages states "one bag every 7 days".
  7. We joined the ship in Dubai and disembarking in Hong Kong. I have to agree that Verity and Olivia made the experience very special.
  8. Even if the gratuity is included, if I like the service, I always tip more.
  9. Currently on Ovation. Verity is CD, Olivia ACD.
  10. We're on a 33 day B-B. 399 for unlimited.
