  1. I just got an upsell offer for $189pp on a mexican 10 day, 37 days out from interior to premium balciny

I actually asked the callback agent, he told me there is 4 people in their department that offers upsells on specific ships

  2. the ultimate VIP cruise is happening for the first time, you need to qualify for it by doing a VIP cruise before September. If your level of play qualifies, you will get an invitation for the Majestic. The have limited spots, and you may have to pay for the cruise also. The will start from top players, and move down the list until all the spots are filled. Everyone invited and booked will receive a special gift also upon boarding.

  3. someone dropped the ball, as I find the table games comps are much better than the machines. The don't care how much you cash out, they track you play, win or loss. they count how many spins you make with what bet. The count how much you bet and number of hands played per hour. Next time you talk to a supervisor, ask him/her you play level. The know exactly you level of play all the time. Why do you think they offer free cruises and casino cash in you mailbox on the last day of the cruise?

I haven't paid for a cruise in my last 5, and have another FREE cruise and entry for the Blackjack tournament

  4. The ultimate cruise, is only an invitation. If you get invited and don't qualify for a free cruise, you need to pay for it at a discounted rat. But you WILL receive a lot of perks on that cruise, and a welcome gift worth about $500 not that Princess embossed promo stuff they always seem to give away.

June 23, 2018 is a $50k blackjack tournament (Caribbean Princess), similar to the Slot Tournament on the Regal last October. Free cabins are offered if you qualify also. It sounds fun.

  5. no, as you don't present you cruise card for drinks in the casino.

They will issue you a separate card on a lanyard

make sure you tip the server though, this way they will come back to you in a timely manner, if you don't you may not see them for awhile.

  6. I asked the head waiter why he asked for our room number, and it is so they can check if we pulled the gratuities. We all know some do it all the time as you can see the lineups at the services desk all the time on the last day.

Do you notice that almost half of the tables are always empty too on the last day. I can't believe what people do to avoid paying any type of gratuity.

  7. Casino rates are basically those that have patronized the casino at any time for any amazing. They are just basic discounts that don’t include special perks.

VI0 and Prestige rates include extras, and you don’t need to read the small print. The perks will be dominant on the offer. Your free drinks, Casin cash, etc...

  8. By the OPs responses, they aren't going to take our advice.

Just do it, and report back later on this thread what happened.

Looking forward to the cricket sounds.

why ruin a perfectly good vacation by trying to save a few dollars, and stressing out?

can't wait until the next tread started by someone asking if a 7:30 flight is too early.

  9. I started a thread ....have you ever booked an early flight AND not made it....please post when sitting at the airport waiting standby or shelling out more $$ for another flight. Let us know what happens

No one seems to ever follow up. Probably too embarrassed for asking the question and ignoring everyone's advice and missed everything costing more money and increased stress levels.

The posters that say they will book a later flight after asking never have an issue.

  10. Simple answer "No", but there will be a few that say "yes", other that say, "go for it."

too many factors to come into play for a short time window like that.

I think your request is the earliest flight ever asked so far.

what if there is any delay at all? port authority? CBP? princess? TSA? Ships in port? way too many factors you are not in control of. Enjoy breakfast in the morning instead of running like a chicken with your head cut off.

Might as well book the later flight, as you most likely will miss the 7:45 one.

  11. Theres a differeence betweeen a fire sale when they were trying to fill ships, and them giving free play money and cruises.

Discounts are for pretty much any gambling levels, free cruises and free play money are for higher level gambler incentives. theydon't offer these incentives to casual players.

Ipersonally keep in contact with regular hosts, and have direct contact with carnival executive hosts on promotions offered .

As i said before, someones leveel of play is subjective, my $500 daily buhin is small for me, but lots to someone else.

  12. Depends on which VIP perk it is, if it’s the regular OPC casino then you go in the peferred line.

If it’s the prestige players (where the offer includes car service), you are privately escorted on the ship by a casino host before everyone.

  13. carqueen you are not tellng the truth there is no way in hell you are getting a free cruise and $1000 gambling money and you are not a big gambler no way nada not possible 19 cruises a couple of hours everyday at an average of 25$ per hand on blackjack i did get the offer mentioned in this post but other than some free drinks thats it (PLUS some casino rates but they are not on cruises we would consider} i seldom see anyone playing a higher amount than myself have spoken with casino managers and no what i am saying

Depends the definition of not a big gambler means, I know a guy that drops $500 a spin on roulette and dropped over $15k on a cruise and he doesn't consider himself a big gambler. denial maybe.

I know I get the same offer, and it takes a lot to get that offer.

Everyone gets a personalized $$$ for "free play" too on this promotion

I know last year we took a free offer from Princess in Mexico where everything was included, drinks, specialty dining, free cash, and Excursions and car service to and from the port, Vegas like treatment. All we had to pay was flights and port fees and taxes. They even brought a few extra Hostesses from other ships and an Executive host from Carnivals HQ to cater for the select few that got that offer. The executive host even met us at the port and escorted us onboard. They called it the Princess Prestige Club, similar to the Ocean Players Club but more perks.
