Their so called "upgrade" price was more than a new booking rate. So, I could upgrade with them, pay more than it would cost me to book the same room directly with Princess (or with any other TA) AND I would have lost all my credit card points. How is that an upgrade rate??? Would anyone in their right mind pay that?
Please don't make it sound like I just wasn't happy with their upgrade offer. It was no "offer" at all.
But you took the rewards offer, so now your stuck with it. Not just looking a gift horse in the mouth, now your looking up the other end now. All rewards offers have strings attached somewhere or another. If it is change or upgrade fees.
-
They did offer you upgrades at an additional rate which you didn't want to pay.
-
Also it was a rewards booking, essentially discounted already. Thats how they make money when you want to upgrade. They get certain rooms blocked for rewards travel. Just like airline rewards have certain number of seats per plane.

My last guarentee, due tobthe b2b, they had to wait and did not assign my room until the night before. Ended up moving up from a mini to a full suite

All you need is a hdmi to dvi adapter, they have dvi inputs, as seen on above pictures also
-
I dont think they would run around the ship looking for a filet of salmon

To get 2 cruise credits, you need to book as 2 seperate cruises. If yiy book a suite, then yiu would get 2 for each booking.

The casino host is the one that writes the letters, and comps you any way they wish. Letters do not come frrom the casino manager.
Then again, i think the casino hosts deal with the table players more. Slots and video poker players dont seem to get personal attention from the hosts from what I have seen.
On my last cruise on the cb back in november the host Beatrice sent me a letter for $650, and comped me 2 dinners at a fully booked crowne grill., and had offers of free drinks the entire cruise. I think it helps with the pit supervisors getting to know you by name, and the point you out to the host/hostesses.
The key is to get to know the host, introduce yourself. They can comp most things with or without high levels of play, but the cash letters require higher play.

They are more looking at the biggest bang for the buck, maximize balconies, maximize number of staterooms, maximimize specialty serrvices.
thats why the promenade and central staircase are missing, more cabins more people to spend money

In most slot/electronic games they track your play per spin, and they have a "cash" payout bet every few thousands points collected. Slots are just money collectors, and your odds are brutal, they dont have to follow regulations as land based casinos.
On table games its a rough guestimate, eventhough they try to electronic track yoy. Its also by per bet and how high the bet, nit by how much you buy in with or lose. Object is to keep your bets high when the pit supervisor is watching, and chat up and slow down the dealer when tey aren't :D
-
Table game tracking is completely different

Depends on how many are booked online and waitlisted, prices are higher onboard too.

Minisuites on emerald are covered cat. ME

Couldn't be more of an invasion of privacy than the xray scanners at airports. When they first started implementing them, their was a privacy issue uproar, not its just part of travelling.
Aslo ifnyiu did not fit the parameters, the few, or sick, could be questioned by someone with medical training. Nothing a quick few questions wont solve.
Regardless, we kmow princess track recordmof enforcing thie own rules that they have implimentted so its a mute point.
Even the forms are a joke, just a liability waiver from their legal department.
-
Never seen them use a code, but have recieved the letter in the past.
If you book within 30 days, on the cruise, go to the cash cage with yiur letter, and they will give you cash.
I had to waste one worth $650 back in september, as I already had everything booked
There is no credit, or obc, its cash that they give you
-
I wonder how many people lie on that form when they are filling it out at the pier? It's only as accurate as you are willing to be honest.
The same people that are inconvienced or slowed down by doing it at the port.
Everyone says they fill it out honesty, I have seen cases of people in line sniffling and coughing up a lung, but when they hand in the form they walk right through (guess what they checked out). Because if they didnt lie on the form they would have been sent to another area.
Too bad princess cant spare the time or manpower just even take temperatures of people, that would solve most of the peoblems. Could be done at security while people are shocked they have to have their carryons xrayed like its never been done before, even in the peferred boarding line.
-
Actually if its prefilled on different paper, princess rep may not accept it, and delay boarding longer than if you filled it on the spot anyhow. So you wouldn't save any time.
-
And how is it accurate on day of embarkation? Might as well check no to everything as well then

I just bought $500 OBC but the charge shows on my credit card as $590.93, not $550. Either the 10% conversion rate no longer applies, or I made a mistake in ordering the $500 US to be purchased on my CAD credit card. I am thinking the latter - maybe I should have done it differently?
Oh well, it's in place now and maybe we won't spend it all...........
You can ask for a refund, and get it reordered

There is a point at the edge of the bungalows as you get off the tendors go left. Walk past the bungalos, and you will pass a surf fishing area. Go past it ariund the point, you can catch them there.

Just go to the casino to charge $$$, they put it on your card or casino chips. Then cash out in USD
