  1. The ability to do that without Voom was plugged some time ago. You can get inbound notifications, but can't send outbound.
  2. Yes, but in addition to very low chances of winning at all, most wins are for one category upgrade from existing cabin.
  3. Yes and yes. The app info gets more complete/accurate closer to sailing. Set the app to the current sailing (not yours) for fairly good info.
  4. That's because no one around here knows the criteria used by Royal Up.
  5. Yes, but those are limited to port days only, usually.
  6. You can see most things listed in the Compass in various sections of the app but usually you can only see the .pdf of the Compass via a link on board only.
  7. Ending a TA in Florida is quite different than ending in NJ.
  8. There should be at least two months between delivery and first revenue sailing- you should be good.
  9. Cafe Promenade may use Starbucks coffee beans in their specialty coffee. Wait until on board to see how many punches they use for the kind of coffee you drink to see if the card makes sense.
  10. For the slides on the ships, the app may list restrictions under the Activities - Venues section.
  11. Especially when you have to use it on a much longer sailing. Biker, who wonders what's the over/under for the number of days folks will put up with the crap TP before bringing their own.
  12. The change description says in part: we're introducing For You, a feature showcasing curated products and experiences selected with you in mind. The genius of RCI - figuring out new ways to separate you from the money in your wallet.
  13. The short sailings which were very high not that long ago seem to be leading the decline in prices - all Freedom class ships now have sub $50pppd sailings on the flier this week.
  14. It has little to do with popularity (virtually all ships are at/above 100% capacity regardless of home port) - it's all about the $. If they can make more money somewhere else, they'll home port there.
  15. Correct. How fast you get a drink can vary, even with a bar in the lounge. You should be able to get any kind of drink, though very unlikely a milk shake. @orville99 should sail soon and may provide feedback.
  16. Some folks may have seen them in the Compass but with that being harder to get, asking a bartender is probably the best way to find out.
  17. Those are likely "regular" port changes, not due to engine issues.
