  1. Start with reading some Allure related threads - drop down menu on the main page here at the RCI section of CC.
  2. Yes and it usually doesn't fix itself until you board.
  3. Really surprised the RCI marketers didn't take the opportunity to charge for something at that venue.
  4. If all 6 of you are in the same cabin that is true, all in the cabin are supposed to purchase Key and it is not available for just a day. It makes no sense to spend any money to get on board "early" just to be able to book dining. You are incorrectly assuming that if you board at say noon (vs 10:30), all the dining slots will be gone. Besides, you are likely to be able to get on board at 10:30 anyway.
  5. Likely, yes, but the overall cost isn't likely to be any lower than what you can get in the planner now.
  6. Look for the 2025-2026 deployment thread in late summer - it will discuss this.
  7. You'd have to ask someone at RCI that knows (certainly not one of the front line folks on the phone) - follow RCI's advice; keep checking.
  8. There are no cut backs with soda (other than the occasional outage of a Freestyle machine) - not sure why that poster ever assumed in would be included.
  9. Talk to your attendant on the first day and outline your requests - they'll make it happen.
  10. The value you see at say $17/day is personal. For most people, most of the time in most locations, the wifi is almost as good as at home. However, sat based internet, even Starlink, is less reliable then home internet.
  11. Some have no issue walking into the closed hallways to get their card.
  12. " Royal Caribbean Group appointed Rebecca Yeung, corporate VP operations science and advanced technology at FedEx Corp. to its board. Chairman Richard Fain cited Yeung's 'valuable combination of skills ... as she is well-versed in technology, digitization and business strategy.' Royal Caribbean Group President/CEO Jason Liberty added her 'experience in technology, automation and innovation will be a valuable addition to the board as we usher in the next phases of our growth.' 30 years of experience in strategy and operations technology Yeung has nearly 30 years of global experience in strategy and operations technology. She joined FedEx Corp. in 1998 and has served in various marketing, innovation and technology roles. Currently she is responsible for advancing FedEx's innovation and transformation strategy, including scaling robotics and automation technology, autonomous vehicles, decision science and electromobility. Before this position, she served as VP advanced technology & innovation at FedEx since 2015. 14-member board This brings the number of Royal Caribbean directors back to 14 following the departure of William Reilly in January. Besides Fain, Liberty and, now, Yeung, the board consists of John Brock, Stephen Howe Jr., William Kimsey, Michael Leavitt, Amy McPherson, Maritza Montiel, Ann Moore, Eyal Ofer, Vagn Sørensen, Donald Thompson and Arne 'Alex' Wilhelmsen." 13. How many times you cruised before doesn't matter - the shows usually become available the month before the sailing.
  14. No. Depends on the show/time and what you consider "good seats" but at least 15 min out.
  15. Welcome to CC. Typically, the earliest departure (self-assist) is about 30 minutes after arrival.
  16. Did you notice the time between the last post, my first one and yours? I have browsed every thread in the RCI section of CC for years and noticed trends. I can assure that if I or you had not responded, this thread would very likely have gone into the pile of threads in which the OP didn't get any meaningful feedback. Unless your thread is on the first couple of pages for folks to see, it gets forgotten/overlooked. During a busy part of the day, that can happen within an hour. Our banter is likely the only reason you got any feedback since my first post. Biker, who sometimes posts, not necessarily to provide an answer but to bring the post forward for others to do so.
  17. But it might help you to understand why you may not get the answer you are looking for. BTW, about 90% of the posts on CC add no value but folks post anyway. Also, expecting to not have some snark or subjective feedback (even if specifically asked not to) in CC threads in unrealistic.
  18. It’s not snarky, it’s reality. Kinda hard to expect someone to carry a thermometer with them on a sailing, bring with them into the solarium and take measurements to give you an objective answer. Everything else is going be the subjective answer you didn’t want - “it was fine for me”.
  19. When you ask such a subjective question it’s kinda hard to get a “basic answer “.
  20. Too early - keep checking the planner.
  21. A TA may have one but more likely you might get lucky at getting a spot once on board.
  22. Most have reported that the app sorta starts working properly once on board.
  23. The app set to the current sailing should list that info.
  24. Look for the 2025-2026 deployment thread later this summer with this kind of info - itineraries sometime after November.
