  1. Why would that be? The same check in/boarding info is available if you book two years out or a day out (SetSail pass) and you can hand the porters your luggage, tell them the cabin number (they attach the tag) and it will be delivered like all other luggage. They don't market cruises one day out - the prices are typically way higher by then (prices typically bottom out by 30 days out). The closest in marketing is typically the GGG flier, which lists sailings usually at least two weeks out.
  2. Only Voyager class and up ships have a Flowrider.
  3. iOS also updated to v 1.14.0 The update description: With this release we’ve improved guest departure with the addition of departure delay information and enhanced functionality related to multiple port stops.
  4. It's fixed enough that there are no itinerary changes till after her TA.
  5. The app lists all the dining venues and any cost associated with them.
  6. The poster asked about a D+ perk, not UDP.
  7. Some basic math 700/3 = 234 nights as a solo in a suite, so around 8 months. If someone did that run during the double point promo last year, it would have been 1/2 that time.
  8. The dry dock part is - she's due for one in the spring of 2025.
  9. Folks like ace, may need that 10 s and maybe not just for the pic.
  10. It doesn't help when the web site says: but then some ships have this:
  11. What drinks/punches the card be used for seems to vary a bit across ships/staff.
  12. Grande and Chic on deck 3 and Silk and American Icon on deck 4. Crusiedeckplans is a good resource for ship info.
  13. Decide that on board after you ask the barista all your questions, including how many punches your drink takes - the card is the same price on board as in the planner so there's no savings buying ahead.
  14. Do a title limited search for Royal Up and browse the several threads on this topic for your answer.
  15. No need for photo either - takes 10 sec during check in at the pier.
  16. You don't need to check in or you can check in via a web browser.
  17. " Royal Caribbean has informed some guests that their upcoming June 9th, 2023, cruisetour before sailing on Radiance of the Seas is oversold due to capacity limitations. While Royal Caribbean does not specify which one has been oversold, it is more than likely the 10-Night Alaska Wildlife Express, which Royal Caribbean calls the 1B cruisetour. Radiance of the Seas Cruisetour Oversold Guests booked onboard the June 9 cruise from Seward, Alaska, to Vancouver, Canada, will undoubtedly be disappointed that their pre-Cruisetour has been oversold, as it offered an incredible experience through a variety of included activities. While Royal Caribbean did not provide any more details on which cruisetour has been cancelled, the available options on the Royal Caribbean website would point to the 1B cruisetour, a 10-Night Alaska Wildlife Express being affected. Guests begin their adventure in Anchorage on the first day. On day two, they travel from Anchorage to Denali on the scenic Wilderness Express, featuring panoramic glass-domed railcars. In Denali, guests can explore the surroundings, hike trails, or optional book excursions like flightseeing or rafting on the Nenana River, followed by an overnight stay at Denali Park Village. Day three involves the Denali Natural History Tour, where guests appreciate Denali’s beauty and search for wildlife with a park ranger. In the afternoon, they journey to Talkeetna by coach, ending the day with an overnight stay at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. On the fourth day, guests return to Anchorage, visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and drive through the Chugach National Forest. Finally, they arrive in Seward to board Radiance of the Seas for the 7-night Southbound Alaska and Hubbard Glacier Cruise. From day four to eleven, guests enjoy the breathtaking cruise from Seward to Vancouver, stopping at various picturesque Alaskan locations such as Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Haines, Icy Strait Point, and Ketchikan. Alternative Cruisetours Offered In response to overselling the cruisetour, Royal Caribbean is working on providing alternative options for affected guests. Although not a perfect solution, the cruise line gives guests who choose not to cancel the opportunity to switch their pre-cruisetour to at least two other tours. Guests can opt to remain on the June 9th, 2023, Radiance of the Seas sailing, choose a similar Cruisetour, and receive a $400 Onboard Credit per stateroom. They can choose between two alternative tours: A 12-Night Fjord & Tundra National Parks Explorer, which departs on June 4 from Fairbanks, Alaska, and concludes in Vancouver, British Columbia. A 13-Night Grand Mountain Marvels tour, departing on June 3 from Fairbanks, Alaska, and concluding in Vancouver, British Columbia." Royal Caribbean Oversells Alaska Cruisetour (cruisehive.com)
  18. All regular Q class ships (Quantum, Anthem, Ovation) have MTD in the two deck 4 dining rooms, while traditional is in the two rooms on deck three. If you have MTD, you might ask the MTD host to seat you in one of the two (if you have a preference for the decor), but with traditional, you'll be assigned to one of the ones on three.
  19. As you may have seen in other Anthem threads, others got a message with the engine issue as the reason (and I think those messages stopped two weeks ago) - as I mentioned, many times the change is NOT due to the ship and given her current state, would assume all will be well with her, mechanically. The problem may not have gone away by itself - they likely actually fixed it - yes, they can fix things while she's in service.
  20. Did you get a message from RCI confirming that the change was due to engine issues? Many times the itinerary change has nothing to do with the ship condition. The last sailing and the current one it seems like she's sailing "normally" with no changes in her schedule.
  21. That or switch to some alternate ship/sailing. What European itinerary was modified due to the supposed engine issue?
  22. The Flowrider is typically open above 50F - it gets much colder than Alaska on Anthem while she's sailing from Cape Liberty in winter.
  23. That may have been speculation - last week's itinerary was "normal". She has a few more weeks left before her repo. The only itineraries that were affected are the ones which require long high speed runs - even if the issue is still there in September, if you don't have such an itinerary, there should be no changes.
