Yes, your camera should be safe. We did this excursion a few years ago and it rained some, so make sure you have a water resistant beach bag you can tuck your camera in when you're not using it. It was a nice tour and the people on board reminded us that at least a little rain is common, so be prepared so your camera stays dry.

x2 for a waterproof/weather proof bag.

This is what I was going to add... NFL games aren't typically available in the staterooms... for obvious reasons.

We went 2 years ago and we could only see it in the game room.

Here is a pretty good map that lists most attractions etc.
