I used Dior last time I cruised...but, found later into the cruise to go 'naturale' was best. The makeup was good in warm climate but my skin was so moist all the time I didn't like not wiping off my face.

Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are served with lunch and dinner on board, and you can help yourself to tea, coffee and cappuccino at any time. Spirits were an extra charge.

I buy those disposable bakery gloves by the box full for when I "curb my dog". I am packing some. IF something would start happening on my next cruise, I'll be prepared with that barrier!

I have the Lowepro Passport sling and I love it. I just have to watch that I don't overload it with other stuff. You know, water, sunscreen, sunglasses. . .

If being able to contact family or work is a deal breaker, keep in mind that sometimes (often?) the signal goes down and even when it's working its slow, and don't plan on Skyping friends or family either

In my opinion, celebrity is not a luxury cruise line, but on the higher end of mass market. If you are looking for "luxury" you may be disappointed. With the right attitude and expectations, you will be pleased.

We went to great stirup cay. (Sp? ) You could use a credit card to rent snorkeling equipment ect.but at the outdoor vendors we had to have cash. There were atms.

Lots more jewelry stores. Some very high end ones. Not as many hand made items, though they can be found if you look.

 

The major shopping area is downtown right by the port, though several upscale shops have moved into the Camana Bay development a few miles from the port area.

Camana Bay is worth the effort to get to IMHO.

"Best" is a totally subjective question. You could ask 10 people and get 10 different answers for 10 different criteria. Both have wonderful aspects. You can't go wrong sailing out of either, or spending time in either.

Agreed....that being said, Vancouver would get my vote. ;)

It is not a steep uphill to the garden, it's walking through housing areas, by the hospital, the golf course, the baseball field, the bird sanctuary, a camp, a area with some horses, just a nice walk.

Agreed....its a really nice walk. We have done it a few times. :)
