I have done the Danube (Amsterdam to Vienna) four times and the Rhine (Basel to Antwerp) twice. I prefer the Rhine for it diversity and the addition of cruising on the Moselle river. You cannot go wrong with either choice.

Be sure to put your cellphone number on your bag ID tags. Someone took one of our bags from the pier after disembarking, (so many bags look alike). Security called the number on a bag that was left and reached the person and they had to come back to exchange bags.

I used to do three day cruises a lot. I lived in the port city, so traveling was only 5 minutes. No way would I take one if I had to fly.

X2. I usually only do a 3-day cruise if its an add-on to something else we are doing.

I have only been to Sandcastle Beach and we had a wonderful time.

I'd say choose Oasis or Allure, unless you really want to go to Grand Cayman. In which case, Freedom class because Oasis has too many people to tender to stop in Grand Cayman so instead you get a sea day between faulmouth and cozumel.

Even if it is real (and it may well be), I would run away from such a proposition. No way would I take responsibility for two young adults on board!

My first cruise I got very sick but that was due to really rough seas. Haven't been sick since.

Never on the ship. A few times when I have gone off the ship, but nothing too bad.

I use Bonine starting the night before the cruise. No problem with getting seasick.

I do that also, the bands never worked for me.

Did you know if you contact your Congressman's office you can possibly get free tickets to KSC?

 

Usually it has to be done 6 months out, but its worth a try...;)

It's not a good idea to do that type of excursion unless you book through the cruise line.
