  1. Enforcement is key… sometimes access is not being strictly enforced and IMO it has a lot to do with new crew. Sad 😢 that we pay a premium for the enjoyment of the area but those who don’t seem to get through if they want. And it could be because they designed the area putting public restrooms on the private outdoor area. 🤦🏻‍♀️

  2. Just off the 9/18/21-9/25/21 Panorama sailing: Havana Cabana deck 5

My boarding zone was not called until 12:30 and I was on the ship at 1:07.

My room was ready with my keycard on the door number. Dropped off belongings. Luggage was delivered around 1:30PM.

cabanas were very private and great for social distancing. I pretty much had the whole port side of the deck to myself. If people were looking down at me from balconies above I did not notice. Since FTTF is gone and it’s taking longer to get on board I think you’re worried for nothing IMO. You’re room should be ready.

Why not pick a different cabin if you know it’s horrible?  We stayed starboard side a couple of weeks ago and no loud noises at night. We were on deck 7.

No cabanas are left on the starboard side, sold out for the NYE sailing but yes I know the staterooms starboard side do not experience the metal banging sounds that the rooms on the port side do.

  4. Just got off Panorama- I only sail Havana and noticed that they no longer offer slippers as a perk. Was super disappointed so I called room service and requested my cabin attendant bring slippers. He did and I tipped him $2.00. He brought me 2 more pairs and again tipped him accordingly.  Noticed Panorama still offers the Elemis gel & shampoo in the Havana cabins unlike Mardi Gras so that is HUGE because I love ❤️ the Elemis line. If there is a perk you want start with your cabin attendant and tip them a few bucks to get it.

  5. Panorama cabin 5238 still has a faulty balcony slider door that creaks loudly 24/7 when ship is in motion and hasn’t been fixed since the 2019 inaugural. Stayed in this cabana 12/28/19 and on the 9/18/21 sailing I could hear it creaking from outside on the lanai but not from inside my adjacent cabana.

LOUD Metal banging & scraping sounds all night long until about 8 AM coming from god only knows where. Above cabins port side aft. Was told by guest services it was maintenance crew and that maintenance dept said it was mandatory nightly work that they only could do at night (suspich sounding). Was given a separate cabin for sleeping purposes only and got my shore excursion credited and WiFi package credited. Apparently others staying in aft port side cabins could hear it as well all night long. Staying in the same cabin for 12/31/21 and guest services said they will do their best to resolve by then but honestly if maintenance crew refuses to adjust their schedule I can’t imagine it isn’t impacting all future sailings as well so not holding my breath. I am going to try to find the cause and record it on 12/31/21. I was wandering the halls all hours of the morning on this sailing trying to find it but I couldn’t.

  6. Hi everyone,

I’m on the Panorama 9/18 & the extended weather forecast shows thunderstorms in all ports for this sailing. What is your experience on the accuracy of these forecasts and the possibility of them changing? I only ask because I booked a Havana Cabana to utilize the pool and hot tubs but if extended weather forecasts are fairly accurate I might want to see if I can switch to a regular balcony cabin. Is there an extended weather forecast link you can provide that you find to be very reliable?

    Thanks!

  7. I order my cruise straws from dollar tree dot com. Seasonal item so I ordered 3 cases in April. They are paper but last me 2 drinks 🍹 each. 1 case is 480 straws for $48.00. Bringing about 240 with me since I got Cheers and since I use them for non alcoholic beverages as well to protect my lipstick 💄 what ever I don’t use I donate to my bar staff at the end.

In Southern California none of the usual suspects, including Walgreens have any rapid tests. Leaves the vaccinated in the lurch to get PCR results quick enough.

I booked a rapid antigen test for CVS in Santa Monica on 9/16!!!! What do you mean?!?!?!? Now you have me freaking out!
