  1. It was at end of January. We were Feb 3. The logo was on the card and the login. Crew also remarked that their internet got worse with the switch. Maybe they still had growing pains to work out.
  2. Does anyone who has been on Equinox lately know what time the CC lunch is offered? I can’t find it in the app.
  3. For what it’s worth, I was on Anthem OTS in January with 4,000 people and Starlink and a full Millennium in February. I think it worked better on Anthem!
  4. Ang more recent reports on the kids’ filet? I didn’t ask when on Millennium earlier this month (just didn’t come up) but am on EQ in a couple weeks and curious.
  5. Yes - really curious to hear that - is it all meals or just dinner? Was always a nice option before.
  6. On 14 nights in Solstice (B2B, so repeated menus) we did: 6 nights Luminae 7 nights Murano 1 night butler served meal in-suite We did lunch in Sushi on 5 nearly whenever we could as well. Gave Luminae lunch a try a couple times the first week. We had been on Millennium about 6 months prior and done plenty of Tuscan and Le Petit so did not do it on Solstice. Our original plan was just 3 nights Murano and it was so superior that we adjusted our plan. My cover charge was included with the RS but my family member traveling with me was in a different cabin so we had to pay, so it was not just "because it's free".
  7. @kguerriero is correct - you can access the locker room from just near the solarium pool and go use the sauna or showers.
  8. Had such a good time in the RS in October on Solstice. Can't wait to follow along! Safe travels.
  9. The other thing to consider if the nightmare that would be provisioning at the Old San Juan piers. Imagine having to bring in tractor trailers of supplies along the cobblestones? It'd be impossible or very costly. I know the smaller ships like Crystal and a couple others did or do it there, but usually on the opposite week they are in Miami where I imagine they bring most supplies on and many guests do a B2B. The good news is, as @RichYakpointed out, Celebrity always calls at OSJ when it's a port call.
  10. It was fun to look back. This is 9122, right were it starts being deeper and starts having the solid wall.
  11. Sometimes I've seen them fold the ladder up on the bed inside the ceiling.
  12. Got off the Millennium today and good news - service was generally awesome and food high quality, just like I remember it.
  13. Funny enough, this came across my “desk” at work today: https://kentico.portoflosangeles.org/getmedia/c2adc6ea-cbd3-4f98-a47a-ea81f55ae277/Final-Draft-Cruise-Terminal-RFP-1-31 in some years, all will be solved 😀
  14. We got off on 10/29 and yes it was a cluster. Only benefit was if we had B2Bed that week, because of no terminal, customs came onboard. 10/22 turnaround day we were paraded through terminal and out in sidewalk, all running to catch up to a terribly inexperienced officer because the Captains’ Club host who was supposed to go out with the group and lead up the rear chose to stay onboard. This was all in a RS 😳 You are very fortunate if all goes smoothly in San Pedro.
  15. Great point - that was a big factor in us going to Murano on the first day of the second leg of the B2B. Didn't need to see chaotic Luminae twice!
  16. I usually give my first gift when we speak on day one - I give the steward the mornings off! They are really appreciative. Other than that, I've asked if they need anything from stores but usually it's just cash at the end.
  17. On Solstice in October, we found service and food quality in Murano to be much better than Luminae. To the point that we ate in or from Murano 8 of 14 nights in the B2B. I'd probably skip it but am negatively biased from that experience. You can certainly visit Luminae for embarkation lunch to meet everyone.
  18. Celebrity is charging less don’t you think? In some cases an inside cabin with all food included has been going for $250 or $350 pp. Three meals a day at Applebee’s for a week would set you back a lot more I think and they don’t come in and make your bed in the booth. I think we have to temper our expectations a bit while the industry is still depressed.
  19. I'm so happy to see that Marren will be back on! She was great in March/April last year. Thank you for the info.
  20. I had a truly amazing stateroom attendant in a FV on Millennium last year who offered to help me pack when he knew I was rushing to finish up after dinner and doing it alone. I declined but he was really exceptional.
  21. Jumping in - yes the gangway is a bit steep. My mom used her rollator on boarding, and was pushed on turnaround day of the B2B and for departure in a wheelchair. On departure we were at a different berth than normal and it was I believe just a staircase for the regular route. We went out a lower deck via a handicapped route. I don’t know if there’s another route at the “normal” berth with terminal that avoids the gangway, but I don’t think so.
  22. Yes but reportedly it was the last one on the ship! On other ships the machines are prevalent. Because I asked for it ahead, I got the spare. Other RS folks who asked on board did not get. PH had. It was great - a Lavazza pod system. Could do espresso or lungo. Photo of set up - copper mug and phone sanitizer is mine.
  23. And you have the little tags in your shirts and pants with your cabin number on them as a reminder of a good trip 🙂
  24. Absolutely - and many of the entertainers as you probably learned practice together shoreside first, so they are quite tight-knit. And, it was probably H - Klaudia the Martinis/pool/Horizons bar server (always in her aviators at the pool!) from Hungary headed home when we did on 11/28.
  25. I think to some extent you have to remember our 11/22 cruise was the start of the Caribbean season. I’m sure many crew were new (based on the service provided) and that information takes some time to make its way to everyone. At least several of the production cast were new to ships or new to the working world. By now they’re well into the Caribbean season, with a lot of ports repeating and I am sure they are all better into their groove and more knowledgeable.
