Agree with above. There were some from my cruise using the coach transfer from ship to SEA. flights from YVR- you need to allow an hour to get to airport from ship- traffic varies, 2 hours before flight at airport.

I enjoyed these ships too. Every time I scroll through this thread and realize how large the new ships are becoming that COSTA ship that sank off the coast of Italy, a few years back comes to mind. I cannot imagine an emergency on a ship with 4300 passengers, plus crew, wheelchairs, scooters, aging population, being handled very well. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all!

You can have grats removed by speaking to GS. Your pre payment will get to the crew. should already be posted to your credit card statement. This should not be the way you spend your time on the ship.

I prepaid and my daily crew grats did not show up on account on-board. made it easy to follow what I charged on board. Take travel summary with you to GS- someone in accounting should answer you.

Lovely post. My main objective in organizing M&G was to meet up with the members of private tours I arranged, saving each member hundreds of dollars.Tahiti, St Petersburg Russia, Falkland Islands. And I appreciated the response I got from Most members who attended. Sadly, there are a few that let the organizers know “what a waste of time”! So I am done with them now- off to cruise to enjoy myself.

As it appears now: we pay a cruise fare Plus have a choice to pay extra for: wifi drinks club class dining specialty dining some room service food crew appreciation/ gratuities transfers excursions laundry upgrades that include: fitness classes, desserts, theatre reserved seating, medallion shipping, spa, retreat/ sanctuary. possibly more … This is a Choice, right now.

I’ve organized a few pre pandemic. In 2019 about 25 participated in the roll call. 50+ showed up! It really varies. I gave up when no one else would offer input but last minute wanted to change time & place.

Reserved seating is not free. They have offered the premium desserts that are part of the Plus packages, for an extra cost now, could reserved seating be offered next, to those without a package?

It is part of the increased price for the Premium Plus package. without that extra cost you do not get a reserved seat. it is all how you interpret it!

They are charging for the seat reservation in theatre for shows .

The Specialty restaurants have that covered now.
