I like this idea of doing a second sailing after a short one day cruise from Vancouver to Seattle or Seattle to Vancouver. I haven't succeeded yet but, maybe if the Cruiselines schedules permit. How are all of you Pacific northwest cruisers and your current and future Pacific coastal cruise plans? Cheers.

I did the bolt bus. The driver was great, the only thing I didn't like was at the Canadian border having to take all my stuff off the bus ,go through customs ,wait and put all the stuff back on the bus and hope I got the same seat back again. All that said, I did have a good time.

I carried too much luggage on two cruises back to back . I was staying in the city only for a day in between.

On Princess I missed the production shows. Strange since they shortened them , I miss the old formats and variety.

We're going to be on the Golden Friday and I've never received any emails regarding movies being played on MUTS. :rolleyes:

Just used the Luggage storage at pier 39 in san francisco.

$5.00 per bag. One thing is that the person who was there in the morning said they had a limited space to hold them. There were no lockers that i was aware of.

It worked out for 1/2 day or couple hours of storage.

I wish for the following:

 

-take some loungers and comfy chairs from the Sanctuary and use them on the balconies in the suites.

 

-demand that anyone showing up in the MDR in Jeans be turned away

 

-Go back to wearing the White gloves at address when passengers board the ship

 

-Make the beverage package BOGO for the simple reason that there is usually only one true alcoholic in the stateroom. Its rare that husband and wife are both drunks...lol

 

-Do away with the specialty restaurants all together and just make the entire MDR the specialty restaurant and free of charge.

 

-Don't charge me for a Latte...im on vacation...I want my Latte..it should be built in to the price...

 

-Have a raffle drawing for any passenger under the age of 12 to steer the ship at night while everyone in sleeping.

 

-Have a clothing optional deck like they used to back in the 70's...

 

-Have a 50/50 raffle on board like they do in football stadiums...a guy in our section was at a Philadelphia eagles game and won 44 thousand dollars...he cried for about 15 minutes...it was awesome.. yes...$44,000.00 !!!!!

 

-have the chefs use internal temp gauges for grilling steaks...instead of just eyeballing it. medium rare should always be pink center...!!!

 

-Have a water contract with a huge water conglomerate like Dasani..put their logo all around the ship...and in return on port days let people take as many bottles ashore as they wanted free of charge. period.

My most recent rental was a full-size from Alamo at the pier for $67CAD all-in. I did spring the $15 for a Tahoe upgrade given that my friends all shop at Omar the Tentmaker.

funny, I've been cruising for the last couple years at least once if not twice and never knew that bags were given to passengers in their staterooms. Is that only with a suite?

so between Rexall and Nesters for last minute Groceries which is the best option for walking. I am planning on coming from Grand Station(Amtrak) train station and getting on the Sky train.

Hi where is the Nearest Grocery to Canada Place. I want to get some gatorade and other non alcoholic drinks to take onboard.

Also where do people buy flowers before boarding? (I'm used to the Seattle "pike place market" for flowers but don't know about Vancouver.
