  1. I own Air Canada nothing - they owe me.

Nobody is asking you to owe Air Canada anything. Just be specific when you say "None of us care for Air Canada and their arrogant attitude."

As for your "problems" with them take it up with Customer Service!!!!

  2. The balconies are not only very much smaller than SA's, the majority of the railing is steel and higher than normal, with only a small section of plexiglass. The only plus I see for the SQ cabins is the forward-facing window, and you could get that in the CA's next door.

Thank you jtl513, especially for the pic! Things that make you go hmmmm:rolleyes:

  3. They are definitely smaller. Their pluses are a yoga mat and an Ipod dock from what I have been able to figure out.

    the verandahs are also smaller.

There is no spa benefit other than a reduced 'something'.

I wouldn't take one of these cabins for the price with a 10 foot pole.

But that's just my opinon :D

Thank you! I can always depend on you Jacqui for the answer;)

It's just beyond me on why they are roughly another $200 p/person. I thought I was missing something:rolleyes: Happy to stay in my SA:)

  4. Just curious what the difference is, other than price with the SQ's being more expensive, between these two suites on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Can someone please explain as it also appears to me that SQ's are smaller.

  5. Our cruise will only be seven nights, but my plan is to try every venue once in the first few nights and then repeat what we liked on the remaining nights. I will be happy to enjoy a meal that I didn't have to shop for, prepare and cook and then do the dishes. I won't have to listen to complaints from my kids and I can have an uninterrupted meal with the love of my life -- no phone calls or kids asking me to do something for them. I'll go to the Pinnacle and Canaletto, and Lido and MDR and just be happy that I was able to have saved enough for our dream vacation. If one of the meals becomes the best thing I ever ate, that will be my icing on the cake.

There's the attitude to go with!! Open minded! Enjoy your cruise. I'm sure you will and enjoy all your dining experiences:)

  6. Lisa,

Thanks for enlarging the letter and confirming Captain Bos is aboard.

He's one of the best of the best. :)

We were on the 18 day Hawaii Sailing Dec 3-20 aboard the Veendam and had the pleasure of dining with him at his table! I couldn't agree with you more Sail he was an absolute delight!

Enjoy your cruise Lisa & Tom. Here's to a Happy & Healthy 2014!! Cheers!!

    :)
