Put them on a rollerboard or carry them yourself on.

So you are completely unaware of how many US residents travel to Canada and Mexico for medical procedures. It's not a buck, it thousands of dollars.
OP- I am sure not on a cruise but land vacations or repeat trips across the board. I am planning on doing my plastic surgery here in the US. My man made must be made in the US but could be by the way of China.
Apparently you have never heard the expression "just to save a buck" and obviously you never read post #18:rolleyes:

Great shots!!! Thank you for posting them!

Same as this week; Capt. Edward van Zaane
Julie went home the same day we did, 05 JAN 14. She told me she would be home for a while and then switch between EUDM and NADM, I think you're in luck but I will verify with her
10-4 Thank you!

Copper 10-8, might I ask you who the Capt is on the NA next week when we sail and is Julie Barr still onboard?? Thank you!

Just curious to know if you received my pics of the PS 001 on the Veendam?

...or Room Service.

no they wouldn't be covered for the most part, although you can claim them on your tax return and get money back. My $7000 BA only ended up costing me $5700 after my return :D
i was referring to non-elective surgeries near the end of that post
Some of them are covered if deemed a necessity or health issue.

Thank you EVERYONE for all the great wishes! We can't wait to escape, albei,t for a week to the beautiful caribbean and our first time on the Nieuw Amsterdam:)
-
I hate to sound harsh but if they were that dumb that they had elective surgeries performed overseas, they deserved what happened to them. I find it very difficult if not impossible to feel sorry for them.
With regard to the OP, I can only assume that it was posted as a joke. Thge OP can not possibly be serious.
DON
It's amazing how some people just want to save a buck:rolleyes:

I am so sorry for your 3 friends.
I wonder what their own surgeons would have charged initially if they had had their procedures done at home?
They figured it out that they were saving roughly $1000-4000. I should mention that all three of them had different procedures....tummy tuck & liposuction, facelift and breast augmentation.

Absolutely insane JMO!
Three gf's from where I retired from went down to South America to have some "procedures" performed. All seem to go well. When they returned they ended up with infections etc. Consequently the $$$ they had saved by getting it done there was all lost, and then some, as when they went to surgeons here, they were charged them $$$$$ to correct what had gone so horribly wrong.

Swiss Army soft sided suitcases for DH and myself along with crew rollerboards.

Hello !You must have a lot of «friends» and/or a big family to «entertain» these large spaces.
Did someone in CC could tell me if they had heard about a one person (solo cruiser) PS guest ? Curious about that..!
Holacanada from Quebec City
Just an FYI my DH and I just did 18 days in the PS and never entertained once. We certainly enjoyed all the space:) Would we do it again? Good question? We more than enjoy the space in our Neptune Suites which are certainly large enough for two and also to entertain JMO.

Thank you everyone! I'll be sure to ask at our first breakfast day there.

On a seven day Caribbean cruise is the Pinnacle Grill open every day or only on specific days for lunch?
-
It truly is a butlers pantry but fabulous for entertaining and the fridge is an incredible size!
Enjoy the PS!!! We certainly did:)

Hello,
My husband and I are sailing on 2/16, our first B2B and I have a few questions for our fellow CC'ers.
*Does anyone know which nights will be formal nights?
Usually the first and last sea day on a 7 night cruise
*Will the menu in the MDR be repeated from week one into week two?
*Any suggestions for our port day in FLL? Should we venture out of the port? There are over 15,000 people in port on the 23rd!
*Best place to be for sail-away?
On deck aft or your balcony, or wherever you want
Thank you for any responses!
Caroline
Just a suggestion

We always bring a digital clock with us, as it's impossible to read the wall clock or phone.
New Pinnacle Menu
in Holland America Line

Good Evening All!!!
Well here is my verdict..Just arrived home off the Nieuw Amsterdam 7 day Western Caribbean Cruise and we did dine at the Pinnacle Grill. This had to be the most disappointing meal we have ever had period! Four leafs of lettuce with a couple of croutons and a drizzle of Caesar dressing in a parmesan shell..bland. Soup was a tomato broth with a little seasoning. My DH filet mignon was beyond salty. I had the crab legs (yes Kazu. there is NO discount being a 3 or 4 star mariner) and in all honesty they were no different from what the serve at The Mandarin, so I've heard. All in all it was a huge let down. Our waiter was fabulous and mentioned how many others have commented on how poor the menu has become.:(
