Why doesn't it apply Panama cruise? Two months ago, NCL discounted a 13 days Panama cruise sailing Nov/14 to just $499 ($38/day) for inside cabin. That's a smoking deal and I would have jumped at it had I been able to get time off from work.

Peak season = no discount deal. It doesn't matter if it is cruise, airline or hotel prices.

Pig out in MDR at 7pm. Then hit the AYCE junk food bar for pizza and snacks at midnight. ice cream and burgers around the clock. It is the daily must-do routine for extreme cruisers.

Waiting until close to sail date yields the best prices.

Yeah, there is the real price slashing cruise sale and smoke and mirror marketing gimmick sale. Track the prices long enough and you will know which is which.

Wealthy people would rather pay more and dine in specialty restaurants? Good. Please eat there and stay out of my lane. I'd rather see more food and less wait time for me at MDR and Garden Café with them gone.

Some passengers are just pigs with poor personal hygiene. Nothing much a cruise co can do short of banning them from the ship. On my last Alaska cruise, this one guy used the restaurant cloth napkin to blow his nose and threw it back on the table. Totally grossed me out. Next day, this same guy grabbed 2 pancakes from the buffet tray with his hands (yes there were serving tongs around), changed his mind and put them back even when I told him not to. Needless to say, I avoided him like a plague for the reminder of the cruise.

Darn it. NCL better takes note. I see a PTSD lawsuit coming.

OP sorry your meal was ruined, but I was in the casino when Jenny found you and apologized for the misunderstanding and comped you a meal in Teppanyaki. I know my budget and what would cost me when I book a cruise. That's the only thing that matter, not Carnival's costs or loss.

If you already have a passport, bring it. Why take the chance and leave it at home?

I looked at my original invoice, it doesn't say, I booked it myself. Lat year when we waited until about now the ship was full for Christmas week so we did a 7 day on NCL and thought the service was so bad, so this year we booked early and that came back to bite us in the butt....

NCL is bad. Carnival is no better. Is there a cruise line you are actually happy with? Do tell.

Has anyone stayed on the 11th deck? Is it true that the club above is loud and keeps you up late at night?
